Thumbs up to Classic Arms and TGO member Halfpint

I posted this because I hear about some people having issues with their local gun stores and I wanted to write something positive about mine.

I recently missed out on the purchase of a Remington 870 Magpul at another LGS. I called Chance this morning, and not only was he able to quickly locate the shotgun, he also saved me a pile of money over what I was going to pay at another store. To show my support, I spent most of what I saved on ammo. I can say without a doubt that Halfpint takes care of me every time that I visit Classic Arms for a purchase or transfer. Good guy! Chance has always treated me well in the past. Didn't know he was on this forum...how much was the Magpul 870 by the way? I've been mulling over getting one whenever I can sell some other stuff.

Hey y'all -- first off, thanks to Dennis for the kind words! Second, in the interest of full disclosure, I'm the aforementioned LGS employee, Halfpint. I've been absent from TGO for a while, mainly from a few too many irons in the fire. I completely blanked and forgot my password, and apparently I no longer use whatever email I had when I set up my account as HP previously.

Anyway, without taking this any further off topic, thanks again to Dennis and the rest for all the support!

Ya know....someone of your "stature" should get more oxygen than the rest of us, which in turn, should help your memory allowing you to remember passwords and e-mails and such. I just can't figger it out. Makes no sense, it does. (hehehehe)

I picked up my 870 this morning. The action is slicker than slime. I like this shotgun.

I went in today and met up with Chance. I came away with a new Gen 4 Glock 19 and an Arsenal SAM7SF-84 on order! Chance is a great guy and took care of me right away!
