Prepping Expo in Sevierville May 17th & 18th 2014

Recommended Posts

I was just checking the gun show schedules, and saw this.  Its an advertisement for a prepping expo at the Sevierville Convention Center May 17th and May 18th.  I never have been to one before, and this is like 3 miles from my dad's house.   Anyone know anything about this?

Saw it here:

Their web site is here:

The wife said she talked to friends from other states that went to one of these and they are for survivalle.  Intresting an full of stuff but as far as a gun show she said it dont come close.  If you look at the web site you'll see what I mean.  I myself are going I like this sort of thing.

Only reason I'm going is that it's only about 10 miles from my house....lol

I took the family out to it. I've never been to a gun show so I really can't compare it to one. There we're a few tables with guns, most seemed a little high, some were reasonable I guess, if they didn't charge for transfers. There were a few booths with reloading supplies, I didn't see anyone biting on their prices. Not much ammo, all overpriced IMO. It was cool to have a show close though and I hope it gets bigger and comes back, I only went to see if there were any new cool prepper items I had to have. I didn't bite on anything, I do most ordering online, but it was nice to get out for the afternoon. I wish I had gone yesterday though, you got in both days for $8.00.

I'm glad I went just to get the wheels turning. Firearms, ammo, and reloading supplies were way overpriced. Good information on the medical supplies, but also overpriced. Love the layout of the place. Very spread out and no shoulder to shoulder browsing.
