Figured this might be a good piece of info for some one to use. The stuff it has:

Leatherman Wave and Sheath, good thing about the sheath-it has two elastic side pockets and a rear pocket behing the tool compartment

The black cylinder is a marker tube, the top cap has a gorilla tape pull tab which is screwed on. The tube has 30 feet of braided fishing line (30 lb test) wrapped around it as well as 3 feet of wire. These are wrapped in plastic which then has 2 feet of gorilla tape wrapped around that. Inside the tube are (Upper left)-aspirin, benadryl caps, and, loperamide caps, the needles, safety pins, hooks, swivels, sinkers, and the cotton ball covered in triple antibiotic ointment (use for injuries or tinder), and the cut down straw for the water filter. This tube goes in one of the side elastic pockets.

The blue tube is a Frontier water filter. I cover the top and bottom in gorilla tape to protect the filter insert. This goes in the other elastic pocket.

The signal mirror is simply a piece of cut to fit replacement mirror from Wally World with a 1/4 inch hole drilled in it. That, the lighter, and the ferro rod go in the pocket behind the tool compartment.

The sheath has 3 feet of 550 cord wrapped around the belt loop. This does two things. First, it conserves space. Secondly it make another semi compartment on the back side of the sheath. It is into this "compartment" that I place the flat whistle and the folded (18"x12") aluminum foil and no, it doesn't fall out.

Lastly is the Nova light. I clip it on to the 550 cord at the top of the belt loop and then fold it in behind the tool on top of the rear compartment holding the lighter. I then snap the top of the sheath over it and it holds the whole thing secure.

I wear this daily, it isn't THAT bulky, and, with the exception of a survival blanket, it makes a good basic kit.
