I have the 9mm XDM 5.25 competition series and it is a sweet shooter. The first trip to the range with it we were easily hitting clay pigeons offhand at 50 yards.

I have not had a chance to shoot the 45 model however last Saturday I got to handle one at Cherokee rod and gun club. The owner had added a tungsten guide rod and a powder river competition trigger and it felt great.

I also have the 5.25 9mm. Very sweet pistol. Never changed a thing on it and never had an issue with it. Eats anything I load and shoots like a dream.

And yes, it makes me a better shooter.

I wish. LOL  But very accurate as well.

I have the XDM 5.25 in 9mm, 40 and 45 and they are ALL excellent shooting weapons. I've put about 400 rounds through each so far with no problems at all. Well......the only problem was I ran out of ammo and had to order more
