Back for the 101st time

:panic: I honestly thought that Matthew Brodrick with the help us the US Military Killed GODZILLA on the cabled bridge in New York City a year or so ago. It seems I have see him killed at least 20 different times in my life. Does this mean King Kong is going to make another 100th come back too???? It is truly a shame that Hollywood has lost all of their writers and the only options left is to do remakes of previous remakes of past remakes and still in the end the dragon and the big monkey still bite the dust again and again and again............. :hiding:

Movie making is a business. When people stop going to see the same movie over and over again, and they stop making money on remakes, they will make something new and different. Right now, nostalgia is in fashion. All the things we grew up with are new again. Mustangs look like they did 40 years ago, so do Camaros. Fashion from the early 60's and the 80's is back. Movies and TV that recalls our younger days are big business. In a few years it will all change again.

By the way, the Matthew Broadrick Godzilla was in 1998.

You have the same problem I have. We have lived long enough to call them remakes but to the kids they are new movies....jmho

Yea, I agree but with the Video world our children have seen the same ones we saw when younger. I asked my 10 year old Grandson if he wanted to do see it. His reply was why Grandpa? Haven't you see him before. He said I have so don't want to see it again. Even the kids are noticing the same issues I am.

I thought the last King Kong was a good movie. I think that with the advances in CGI and computer modeling that people want to see these type of films made. I really like Pacific Rim but I don't think I'll like Godzilla just because it's Monster vs Monster.
