I know a lot f folks are doing their own thing on here, I get a lot of info from this group.

BUT, has anyone tried the FalCoated line from Falcon Bullets, yet?  Doesn't appear to be the Bayou/BBI/SNS Hi-Tek method.

These are primarily all I use now. Falcon spent about a year developing the coating and its not the same thing anyone else is using. The bases are exposed and for some people that use compensated 9mm major open guns that seems to be a concern for them, but they are no different than a jacketed exposed base bullet as far as that is concerned. The level of smoke is greatly reduced and one thing I have noticed is after shooting the coated bullets the barrel seems to be cleaner than when I started. Other people I have talked too that use these bullets see the same results. They are definitely a high quality product unlike anything else and worth giving them a shot.

Many years ago I had a Remington 700 in 30-06 with a Simmons scope, one of their better ones. I fired alot of different ammo through it and could only get 1-1/2" to 2" groups from a rest at 100yds. One day I bought 2 boxes of Winchester Partition Gold 150gr. moly coated, and shot 1/2" groups of 3 with that. Most all groups with that ammo, all the holes were touching at 100yds so I was convinced that coated bullets improved accuracy, in my case greatly. I don't remember the exact power of that scope but it was powerful enough to keep the crosshair on a 1/2 dot at 100yds. Now I did some off hand shots that didn't come close to that but that was me and not the rifle or ammo, good enough to get a clean kill shot on a deer though.
