How much is enough? 5 by 7 should be enough? My berm is at least 5 feet deep and 7 feet tall. It has been rained on a few times now the dirt seems like it is one solid mass and grass is now growing on it seems like it should be good to go.?

I thought this was going to be another caliber vs caliber war.

Much less Drama then I expected.

BTW, a hit with anything bets any miss.

Ok then I will start the caliber war then...you know the 60mm paint balls are much more effective at making a bigger splatter on the side of the barn then the smaller ones

here's some information on how you could guesstimate penetration on different materials:

Basically for every 8mm of RHA that you caliber will penetrate, it would be comparable to 510mm of dirt.  So according to this site:  http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbwiki/index.php/Ammunition_Data a .50 Ball round would travel through 21mm (0.826") of RHA or 1312mm (51") of dirt.

As always YMMV, but that chart is pretty close to what we used in the military.
