Something peaked my curiosity at the mall today

Recommended Posts

My family was near Wolfchase Mall (Memphis) today so we stopped in at the food court for lunch. While we were eating I noticed a group of about 10 guys come in and get in line at the various restaurants. They were clean cut, looked to be physically fit, and all were dressed in similar civilian clothing. Being a former LEO I tend to people watch and these guys really stood out. My first impression was that they were military and my wife, who's dad was retired Navy, thought the same. After they sat down to eat I noticed two of them didn't look quite as fit as the others so my next thought was that they were federal LEO's. It didn't look like any of them were carrying a weapon but they were dressed just like plain clothes cops. Anyway, we ate then took our daughters to the Disney store. These guys were leaving about the same time as us so I watched to see what type of vehicles they got into. They walked along a sidewalk and then went down a flight of stairs to a lower parking lot. As we drove by I saw them standing next to 4 identical semi-trucks. The semi's were all tan color with no company markings. The group also had a Tahoe/Yukon and a black van with a large whip antenna that looked like something out of the A-Team. Guess I'll never know who these guys were but they were definitely military, Feds or possibly PMC. I then wondered what was inside those trailers they were hauling.

DOE transportation security guys more than likely. They transport nuclear material most are are former military or police.

That. They are Couriers. And they are all exceptionally skilled to protect their cargo. It was likely a shipment to WIPP or Nevada Test Site (waste transport) if you saw them at a mall, and 4 trucks. Edited by R_Bert

Every time the Feds move anything of any importance they always have a decoy truck or maybe even two and no one knows what they are hauling in most cases and never learn what they just delivered either. Knew a few drivers back several years ago that reached retirement and just retired and they drove them trucks about 10 or 15 years. All they said about it was a job and paid good.

They probably were Nuclear Material Couriers, 0084, no one special. There was probably nothing more than garbage bags in the trucks or they were finishing a training session.

With DOE the pay is good but you are away from home a lot. The turnover is very high but most of them go to a similar job allowing them to go home at night.

I used to know a guy that drove those trucks. He alway had a bunch of really strange 38 special +p+ rounds with little cone shaped bullets. They were supposed to be depleted uranium or titanium or some other  weird stuff. Been too long ago to remember.

I just got off the phone with Alex Jones and he told me those were highly trained Federal Agents that were preparing to go door to door and start a gun seizures. As they fill those 4 semis there are more parked on the outskirts of town to replace them. Tennessee Department of safety has turned over all HCP records as has the TBI with their background checks that we all know have been held for years anyway.

Hang on a minute someone is at the door.....
