TWD Season 5

Recommended Posts

They better pull all the stops in the first episode or I might just bail on them. The last season did nothing for me. Same goes for Mad Men but since it's the last season I will finish it.

Look's like it has potential though. A fresh story away from the prison is what I was hoping for.

The long trailer spoils some of the plot details--we'll know just from the trailer who survives past a certain point, which cuts into the dramatic tension.

The most interesting parts were that it appears they make an alliance with at least some of the people who were going to eat them, and the brief reveal about where Beth ended up.

I'm not really complaining; I love shows like this as long as they aren't completely terrible.

they gotta do something to make it interesting.

What they were doing is played out,  needs a refreshed story line

I'd like to see them embark on an active campaign to find answers... kind of like when they went to the CDC. They've just been hunkered down and surviving, so it would definitely be nice to see them make some plans for the future.

I believe I would enjoy this program a little more if the home entertainment system had Smell - A - Vision.

With all the homes / business's they looted for food, you would think they might run across a bar of soap or two? Also noticed the zombie's G.I. tracks don't seem to work after gorging themselves?

How does Darrel continue to have an unlimited supply of arrows (bolts) for his cross bow and rick can't get a decent OWB holster anywhere for his Colt Python. Instead of trying to find safe haven somewhere, a trip to the CDC, etc.... I'd be like the kid in the candy store and making my rounds to Galco, Milt Sparks, Wilson Combat, Remington, Winchester, Colt, Trijicon, Kimber

You see Darrell retrieving arrows/bolts all the time. That holster is the one he wore as a cop and maybe it is significant to him. I am wondering more about ammo for the python and a holster. .357 isn't as popular as it once was an not like 9mm boxes and stashes everywhere.

A lot simply has to be "assumed" as part of suspension of disbelief.

One thing never really mentioned is water supply. There was one token shot (and maybe a mention can't remember) of stacked 55 gallon drum water filter thing in the prison yard, but that's been about it.

In reality, safe drinking water would be a huge problem, especially being on the move as most all the folks are.

Didn't they show a clip of someone reloading one time on the show? Or am I thinking of the comic?

In one of the episodes in Woodbury you see reloading equipment in the background, don't remember which one, think it was when they were loading up to attack the prison. Edited by Wakethor
