Hot sauces... post up your favorites

I'm a huge fan of hot spicy foods. Love them. The more tears, the better. :biglol:

Lately I've been working through a bottle of Dave's Insanity Sauce and use it on everything from burgers to tacos to chili. If I'm careless and put too much in a bowl of chili (like a tablespoon full) it can nearly bring me to a screeching, beer guzzling, tear pouring halt. But it hurts soooo good. :P

What hot sauces do the rest of you like?

Funny you bring this up 'cause I'm in the process of making my signature Tear your a** out chile :P. It's cold and rainy and time for something spicy!

For an everyday sauce Trappey's Red Devil (or Bull) is good. Not hot, just basic Lousiana-Style Hot Sauce. Excellent on Pizza, Spaghetti, etc.

I like all kinds. You should see the kitchen cabinets!

Dave's is ridiculous. But excellent with practice. Oddly enough his Habanero sauce is nowhere close to Insanity.

Recently I found some Ass Kickin' Wasabi Horseradish hot sauce. That's some might fine stuff!

I'm rambling now, but I love the hot stuff too.

Catch me next season Tungsten! I grow Habaneros that will knock your pecker out of your watch pocket. The meat is WONDERFUL, a real fruity taste, but the membrane and seed pod = :biglol::P:woohoo::biglol:

Dang man where did you get your seeds? I grow these every year and had about a dozen plants this year that never put out one single pepper. They're huge, just somehow never produced anything.

And I fully agree about the flavor, it's awesome if you can get past that burn.

An older gentleman and close friend of mine has a green house, and happens to be a god amongst insects in the art of peppers. I have kinda taken to being his padawan learner:)

No BS, his red chili peppers {not hot at all} were literally the size of a child's forearm! I just threw them on the grill next to a steak, and the skin just slips right off......so good you'd slap your mama for a bite! :censored:

ANYWAY! He starts the seeds early in his green house, and brings me plants about 3-4 inches tall, right at planting time. I just keep clean {NOT CITY!!!!!} water, and some good compost regularly. I didn't get a very high yield this year, but they were some "mean sum biches" lemme tell you.

Some roasted super hot pepper - don't know the name - cooked in Chinese food.

I couldn't talk for two hours, but damn, it was GOOD!

*was great for my sinus problems, too*

I don't know the proper name either, but a buddy of mine calls it "chinese death paste"

Tabasco Chipotle. Not particularly hot, but it has a great smoky flavor. I like to thin it out with some apple cider vinegar and cover grilled chicken with it.

I'm a huge fan of spicy foods. I have about 15-20 hot sauces on hand at any given time ranging from family friendly to un-f'ing-believable. It's hard for me to play favorites but I will tell you that I get almost all of my sauces from Pepper Palace in Gatlinburg (http://www.pepperpalace.com/). My wife's parents own a shop close by and I have to go there every time we visit. If you're ever in Gatlinburg and love spicy food you have to stop by because you can sample almost everything in the store. They even have some pure capsaicin extracts which are about 5 times hotter than pepper spray. Also if you're a fan of horseradish try their "Nasal Napalm".

I love Tobasco Chipotle. I eat it by itself on Ritz crackers. :)

Live life on the edge, eh?
