Matchbox Rockets

As a kid, I used to do something similar, but not as detailed as this project. I used to take a small square of foil, and wrap it around a match. I'd put a sewing pin along the match before pressing the foil all around the match. Pull the pin out to leave an exhaust port. Set the match on an angle and light it up. The match will shoot of like a bottle rocket. Probably didn't go as far as the ones in the OP, since the match was part of the rocket, but still cool.

We used to do the same thing back in high school !
