R K shows comeing back to Murfreesboro

Recommended Posts

Their first few, back 3-5 years ago, were very good.

But that was before the awful building, too many area shows, and too much high priced wally world resale ammo.

If you are close by, give it a try. If it's more than a 10-15 minute drive...use discretion and maybe wait for a review here.

It stinks in there. Is it the building or do gun owners stink? biggrin.gif

I didn’t pay attention to the fact it left. I only live a few miles from there and went a few times. Like all others though I didn’t see any deals. I think gun shows are dead. Why should dealers drag all their guns to a gun show when they can sit in their shop and sell them just as easily?

That and no AC, very little and bad restroom facilities sure make it a "pleasant" place to be. lol

These were the best shows in Middle Tennessee; whatever that's worth to you.

Very little argument there. But at the middle to end run of the M'boro shows, they were atrocious. Granted a lot had to do with the building, but the influx of siding, window, and about anything else you can name put an end to them.

But all things considered, if the building were even half-assed maintained; no one would have complained.

Yes, it's not the RK management that's responsible for the building, but without a comfortable building with at least basic lavatory facilities; attendance and reputation will suffer.

Their last show was in the small flea market part of the building that had poor lighting and no air. They are moving back to the original part of the complex with

better but still crappy air and lighting. As comment above it is still only decent show around.

Agreed, the facilities weren't top notch, or even close, but having said all that, compared to Goodmans' @ Nash. Fairgrnds.,

it was the best show around, even when in Hendersonville. No $5 parking. Even with all the flea mkt. items & home improvement stuff,

there was a still a good amount of gun related items. And, yes, I b'thed" about it as nuch as anyone else, but what we have had

the past several months, is 0.

We'll see how it goes this time around. Right now, for me, I can barely walk, so wouldn't make it anyway.

Yes it is this weekend was in guns and more today they had a sign said they would be closed Friday for set up

Thanks. I just hadn't seen anything on it. Would like to go, but probably won't make it. Have a knee injury acting up still and can't stay on my feet long.

And it's just no fun to go and do a once-a-round and leave.
