PSA 9mm AR

I think this thread has pushed me into getting one of the PSA Hybrids in 9mm and SBR'ing it.  Seems like the perfect SHTF close range Truck AR.  I like the idea of not worrying as much about pass through as there could be with a normal AR.

I don't think you'll regret it! They are really sweet. I put an older Eotech on mine and it works out very well. Matches my Troy folding sights perfectly.

I know this is about the PSA, but a local shop has a CMMG 9mm pistol for right at $900. I am seriously considering buying. Any thought on that? Can you turn a pistol into an SBR?

Absolutely. Just send in a form 1 and when you get it back, have it engraved and put a buttstock on it. Edited by Hozzie

I'm running a PSA build and I came in under $600 less sights and including two mags. This was a straight pistol build which could have been sbr'd for the same price. I have had no issue with it. I have upgraded it since the initial build with some accessories. It was a Colt pattern build.

I just ordered the hybrid pistol lower as I got notice it was back in stock.  What upper length did you guys that have them go with?  I am thinking the 10.5" would be about perfect for an SBR.  I will get my form 1 e-filed as soon as I get my lower in hand.

PSA has colt dedicated complete lowers for $199 and the Glock mag ones for $269 FYI!!!

The Glock lowers are billet....the reason I wont be getting one is the triggerguard like all billet lowers is fixed so that wouldn't allow me to use my Fostech...which is a riot on my current 9mm lower.

Yeah, I got the email earlier this week. Mine will be here next week. My wife wishes I had not seen this thread. LOL
