Another GT blade blowout......

All of these are made from 1/8" 1095 carbon steel and all are about 8 12" in OAL and have about a 3 1/2 to 4" blade. These are made from an old rusty piece of steel and are heat treated to a RC of between 65 and 60. Some have partial hamons visible as well as. The look of these cannot be duplicated...at least not by me....so if you like one you'd better get it since I won't be making another one like it.

You can see the imperfections in the blades so I just went ahead and made them all look old as much as I could. These are meant to be used...not babied because you're afraid to scratch one up. It's what I was going for given the original condition of the steel. I just wanted to see what I could do with it and I'm very happy with the way they came out.

This one might make a good little skinner.  I have no idea what kind of wood the scales are since they came in a grab bag of goodies but they are closely matched.

This one is a bushcraft knife. Once again the type of wood escapes me but they are also closely matched.

This is a drop point hunter and has spalted tamerind scales with 1095 bolsters as well as the blade.

And lastly this is also a drop point hunter with walnut scales.

There will be no others like them so please don't ask me to replicate one. If your interested PM me for details.
