M48 and K31 ammo

Now that I look, it would seem there's not much GP11 on the market anymore, which I find odd.  It's really good stuff.  Guess I'll be more protective of what I've got.  ;)  Looks to be similar for the surplus 8mm... not much out there.  Though honestly, I doubt you're going to want to run lots of rounds through the M48.  Its fun to shoot, but I'm typically done after about 10.

In the absence of that, you're left with the typical PPU, S&B, Wolf, and various hunting style offerings in either caliber.

The PPU stuff is good, most any of it is fine.  Mostly it depends on the condition of the rifle.  My K31 is really nice and I'd be somewhat hesitant to run nasty ammo through it, but I don't think they make anything particularly bad in 7.5 Swiss.  The Wolf in 7.5 Swiss is supposed to be a higher grade than the bulk stuff for AK's and such.  GP11 is (reported to be) match grade and I know the rifle is more accurate than I am.

On the other hand, my M48 is less than pristine so I don't mind running the corrosive milsurp stuff.   You'll just have to find what you can and see what the rifles like.
