Woe be unto you if you give Frontier Firearms negative feedback

Recommended Posts

Man this place sounds like a certain gun store in Clarksville...but I digress.

I do agree that for whatever reason the firearms retail industry is full of asshats - most seem to have that pompous attitude that they know more than everyone else.

When you have a turd boss then all he will probably hire is turds. Thank God for free market so we have more than one choice.

Hope you're not talking about TGC; those guys were always polite and helpful. The other one, which may or may not share space with a hardware store and a barber shop is to be avoided at all costs.

Life is too short to deal with a-holes.  In fact, over the twenty-five years I've been in business (not firearms) I have refused to sign up clients with that type of demeanor.  They had plenty of cash.  I just wasn't willing to deal with all the rudeness and drama.  The same goes when I'm the customer... I'm sure not going to put up with nonsense like that from some gun store clerk.  Last time I checked, firearms and ammo are mass produced.  Someone else has the item I'm looking for at a better price.

I have to admit, I have had nothing but good experiences at frontier firearms on Gallaher Road in Kingston? I've dealt w/ 2 of their staff members extensively and the VP taught my HCP class. They've been stand-up people in my experience. I'm sorry to hear you've had troubles there.

TGC is top notch. I stay away from all the others!

Never did business with the gun store you talk about, but that barber shop is legit, though.  I used to go there when I was in the Army, and never had to deal with a horrible wait like some other places in the area.

Precisely. Four times too many. Id rather try to buy a handgun from Bloomberg than deal with those jackwagons.

Just my $.02

Since I changed my mode of gun pleasures from brick & mortar to the internet years ago, finding a right attitude (& cheap) FFL transfer establishment was my only goal, and thank goodness I found one with no attitude.  So of the many brick & mortars with attitudes, continue to prey on the misinformed, and inpatient people.  As for me Scarlett, I don't give .................

I do remember the shops that had attitudes, that had a chip on their shoulders, the ones that cater to a specific targeted group, the ones that thought they knew more than me when in fact they were full of BS, the ones that sized you up as you walked into establishment, the ones that charged 10-20% more than market, and the dreaded cash price with credit cards 3% more which I despise the most.

I've stopped going to Frontier due to their lack of used guns and the attitude. I went in there looking for .22 WRF ammo for my old Winchester 1890. They didn't have any and they started loudly teasing me...laughing and saying things like "they don't even make that anymore" and "good luck finding any of that". So I gave up on trying to support their local business and I've ordered all of the WRF I want online from Cabelas and had it shipped right to my door.

Welp;
Either his Facebook page is gone, or I've been blocked by association. I only went to look once & posted nothing to it, so I'm assuming it's been taken down.
I did notice he was gathering more & more negative reviews....

It’s still up, both his and the stores.

not sure what is more sad.  Their terrible rep or taking down a FB page thinking that will solve issues.

The old thread where the owner showed his ass here was epic.  The guy just kept digging a deeper hole.

I have been in the store 5 times over the years.  Three times at the original location and two at the current location.  Each time was not a pleasant experience and required a good amount of time before I decided maybe they were having a bad day and would give them another chance.  My last trip was about 4 years ago and I won't be back.  I have purchased many weapons and a lot of ammo and accessories over the years but but not from them, they will not get my business.  The owner and his wife are simply rude and disrespectful toward customers.  It wasn't so much a personal experience for me as it was seeing how they interacted with other customers while in the store.  It caused me to lose all interest in whatever inventory they had for I could easily get what I wanted elsewhere, and do.
