Jingle Knives

Recommended Posts

I meant to share these a while ago, and just remembered after going through my phone. I picked up a few of these knives in Afghanistan to give to some family members as souvenirs. Thought some might be interested in seeing the jingle knives some of the Afghans are rocking up in Balkh province.

What they said, cool stuff. Probably a silly question, but how well do they work?

I was giving them to youngins, so I kept them dull. Will be a few years before they have a real edge on them. I was thinking about getting a smaller version of the curved blade knife and using it for skinning hogs. The guy I bought it from says they use it for skinning sheep/goats, so I figure it'd do fine for pigs. I might go ahead and grab one next time I'm in that area. The small ones are only 15 bucks.
