Our new movie theater just opened here in Sevierville and it blows away Regal theaters.  The seating is like no other and it reclines and when i say reclines i mean just that....all the way back and a foot pedestal comes out....awesome.. You do NOT have to move or get up to walk through the seating.  We went to one of these theater years ago in Myrtle Beach .  I have a link to show ya here......... It has 14 screens. Oh and did I say the seats are electric

Growing up in Sevier county in the 70s and 80s, we didn't have much choice.  Very envious now though!

70s - Gatlinburg Cinema & Drive Inn behind Remax in PF.

80s - Gatlinburg Cinema & Sevierville Cinema where city hall is now (I think), but no more drive inn.  I remember Tuesday night $1 nights at the Severville Cinema, lots of fun on school nights!

I went to the new Marquee Cinema 12 in Bristol on Monday and they have the same set up. We saw the Mockingjay 2. Watching that in a recliner on a 71 ft. screen was awesome.

I love movies on the big screen, I will never go to Knoxville again now that we have this theater. I lover new 70 MM projection and sound. People that dont go to movies now dont know what their missing.  Movies on a TV just dont cut it.......even for this ole fart.  Plus i had to travel 100 miles round trip tp knoxville..........I'm about 10 miles from this new theater......and the price is right $7.00 all day.........Amen.
