If I had a shop still i say bring it on new house = no shop check out essentially off road in Murfreesboro Tennessee they do good work

Yeah I hear ya.  I called them, they are great for sure.  I'm thinking about doing the cutting myself, then take it to them to weld

If you can cut them and get everything ready, maybe looking for a portable welding service would be best. I don’t know of any, but I see trucks all the time with welders on the back of them. Might be cheaper than trying to get it to a weld shop.

We can do this at my shop if you can't find anywhere you would rather have do it, just need to find a night/weekend we both have off.

sweet, I ordered some precut plates from the link in the OP to use for cutting templates and to make re-welding easy. I'll hit ya up and se if we can coordinate times, if not, no big deal.

I've told you we have an unexplained soft spot for FJs. No matter what's in inventory I'll always find the FJs tend to make their way inside.

Reminds me of my dad's bosses garage, minus the BMW and FJ. But a few more Ferrari's to compensate. Oh and a odd ball Bentley.
