I was considering a G26, or G43 or the XD MOD2..... I grabbed the XD for $519  and put 200 rounds though it right away.... If you haven't tried this gun... You Need to..

Smooth, balanced, accurate..  it just fits and works well

I first debated between a Walther PPS, now called the classic model, and The XD Mod 2 9mm. I chose the XD and found this gun fits my semi-large hands perfectly and the trigger is far better than the Walther. For me, it is a little top heavy and at 28 oz. loaded this not my carry gun very often. But I do love the pistol.

I bought the 9 and the 45 muy wife found a concealed carry purse that the 9 with a full mag fits in perfectly, I carry the 45 with the 13 round mag and love that gun, I had bought the xds 45 when it first came out and gave it to my son. I went through several others then went to the mod 2 and wouldnt own anything else
