Ok, I will reopen this thread and ask a different question.

Reckon how the atf is handling submissions before the July 13th deadline?

I just mailed off a Form 1.  I had posted a question about e-filing here earlier but said nevermind.  I figured out that wasn't gonna work.  That system blows.  It never works so I did it the old fashioned way.

My question and/or suspicion, Wonder if the ATF will drag their feet and sandbag the current submissions?  Mine was mailed and dated today.  It will be there tomorrow, I paid extra to be sure.  I also made sure they had to sign the packet so I know exactly when it was taken into the office.  I can totally see the crooked sob's letting them pile up for a few weeks until the deadline and then rejecting a buttload.

It's supposed to go by postmark date. Who knows. I have a Form 3 I'm waiting on before I can do a Form 4. Current lead times on a Form 3 is 2 months. June 27 will be 60 days for mine. As soon as it's in, I'll have Capital Armory next day it then get it processed as soon as I can. I'll be real close to that deadline so I'm banking on it being by postmark.

Do they seem to be dragging their feet, or is it going to work out?

I've got the itch all of a sudden to get an SBR in the works, but am I too late for 41P?

Is e-file gone now?

I dunno, I couldn't get it to work.

Did it the old fashioned way and got mine in a few days ago.

This is my first Form 1, so I'll have to figure it out. Do I download it from the ATF site?

So as long as my postmark is before the deadline, I should be good on 41P. Cool.
