I love 357mag do you?

The .357 is the jack of all trades as far as handguns are concerned. It can be loaded with anything from light .38 wadcutters up to serious big boomers. There is simply no task a handgun could be asked to do that a suitably loaded .357 can't handle. Some of the finest revolvers ever made have been chambered in this "do-it-all" caliber. The S&W Model 27 is and always has been the flagship of the company's line. Even the much vaunted .44 Magnums were never built to the quality and standards of the Model 27.  Every serious gun owner should have at least one .357 and I have quite a few.

But after having said all that, the truth of the matter is than the vast majority of my shooting .357 caliber guns is done with .38 specials. I've reached the age and stage in my shooting life that loud noise and power just for the sake of it is more of a bother than a thrill. But its comforting to know that if I need that power,  its there. ;)

I like them in my SP101 but not overly fond of them out of the American Derringer (especially factory loads)

I don't think they are all that bad out of a derringer. Let me know if you want to try my 45 win mag American Derringer.

I'll pass, thank you very much.   I had a relative that had one in 45-70 that he tried to talk me into shooting, I passed on that one too. :D

I have had several .357 wheel guns over the years, but my 4 inch 686 and .357 Marlin Carbine have a forever home here.  I am currently looking for a .357 single action just for back yard fun.  I should have never sold my brace of Vaqueros.

I used to have a 6" stainless GP100 that I had spent many hours polishing internally and externally.   I let my daughter try it at the Range one day, now it is hers.  I miss that gun...

I only have one Rossi M92 and a Rossi 85 .38 spl. But I love the idea of the versatile .357 platform. I want another lever action.
Here's my favorite! My dad engraved it and I've since added custom walnut hg and stock. Did a trigger/action job on it. Smooth as butter!

A 686 stainless snubby with a really sweet trigger. A single action Ruger 3 screw and a 10" contender. Used to have a 357 Desert Eagle that was a blast to shoot but useless as tits on a boar hog. Sold it to finance my first ar-15

gr8smiles I am not ashamed to say that I would do some pretty self degrading things to get in your will if these were involved. Lol
