I went to my local Little General Store the other day and noticed that they had put up a gun buster sign but above it they had posted the words {No Open Carry}. So i am thinking that concealed carry is allowed but did'nt want to ask. Has anyone else seen businesses posted this way?

Good choice. I've been trying to get my wife to get her permit but she has some kind of disconnect from the range now and then with me to carry by herself, anything you did to get her interested? I am guessing with mine its just going to be time gutting used to guns.
The first time my wife went to shoot with me, the only gun i took was a glock 30. Needless to say that did not go over to well. She shot it one time and that was the end of her shooting for the day. She hated the recoil. When i finally talked her into going again, I brought a Ruger Mark II target pistol 22 caliber for her to shoot and she loved it. I could not believe how well she shot after only firing a couple of magazines. Anyway, we stuck with the 22 for a couple more range trips and then i talked her in to trying a 38 special and after she shot it a few times and got over the initial fear of recoil, she did quite well with it. She still prefers to shoot the 22 but she is very proficient with her 38 also. She still won't shoot the Glock however.

I really like the Glock 30SF but i have found that it is somewhat difficult to conceal. You can't beat a Glock for simplicity and available accessories.

My wife is in the process of getting her HCP so we have been looking for her a handgun. I prefer semi-autos but she is unable to rack the slide on any of my guns so we decided to look for a revolver. The one that she ended up purchasing is a Ruger SP101 357 magnum snubnose. She plans on shooting only 38 special through it however. Do you think this will be a good carry gun for her ?

It's not Dollar General. It is The Little General gas station and convenience store.
