what do you consider a basic load?

Hope you keep this thread updated so we can read the results.

I am just afraid that what will happen with people who have taken or do take anything for like anxiety etc....(occasional xana, zoloft, lexapro, etc meds)...what they will try to pull against those people who have no agenda or thought of harming anyone.
-
interesting...so we have to report a stolen gun every year if we ever wanna see it again?
-
i think its crazy some of the prices people are asking for stripped lowers lately. Even the polymer ones.
-
glad me and my uncle ended up not going...and we talked about leaving work early to go.
-
i wonder how many people will disappear from the forum after reading this....and or get sick or become deceased.
-
thanks for the info. Got a 1G for a great deal.
-
What is everyones thoughts on it?

what scope did you finally go with? I am liking the tactical route for mine.
But havent done anything yet...just the banana magazine. The auto bolt release mod, and homemade buffer pin....now I need a scope because I will probably take it squirrel hunting soon.
-
oh ok...Mine was right under 200$ at academy for the regular carbine version.
-
I just picked up a ruger 10/22 from academy this weekend. Love the thing what 100 rounds I put through it. After I was done, I picked up a butler creek hot lips banana magazine for it.
-
What do 10/22's go for at walmart? I have not looked there, but I ended up buying mine from academy.

yeah, Gunnys shop is a turd...been in there 2 times...once only to do my fingerprints and the second to shoot on a womans free day..place was high priced, the range was crap...and i will continue to keep my gun business with Bills and shooting with Frontier.

I was actually surprised how simple it went from stories and videos I had seen online when getting pulled over with carrying.
I was expecting to be tossed on the ground, cuffed, gun took out unloaded etc (ok ok, im jk)
but i just handed my card with my license (i probably didnt even have to)
She asked if I had a handgun in the vehicle...I said yes.
She just asked where, and I responded with where.....and that was that.
Nothing else was said, she just asked to kind of not mess with that area.....honestly she didnt seem to concerned or sit and eye me while I was digging around. Said how she always has one as well, etc
got my ticket and went on my way. So I am guessing that as long as you act civilized, hand your card without being asked, it should go rather simple.
-
I had been looking for one as well...but i dont live but a second from there, so I will probably stop by and check it out
-
I wasnt that impressed really..I think 10$ is a little too high to go look at the guns I can see selling cheaper in other shops.
-
do they ever sell any newer handguns or anything of the sort?
-
who knows....she rarely makes it out of Maryville.
she work at BMH? If so, then thats where.

mine doesnt have a white strip either...I think you are just speaking about the lower section that is not smooth where nothing was printed on the laminated area...its just blank and rougher than the rest.

I purchased a pf-9 a couple months ago. I loved everything about it. The feel was great and it was very lightweight. After testing it out, I experienced extraction failures every 3 or 4 rounds. Kel tec support was super nice and sent a new extractor kit. I installed it and still experienced extraction failures. Sent it back to KT and they paid for shipping. They replaced internal parts and barrel and it still jams. I purchased an LC9 because of the trouble with the pf9. No failures from the LC9.
I would not have bought the LC9 if the PF9 worked as it should.
I really like both guns about the same. There are things about each gun that I like and some things about each gun that I don't like.
As far as the comments about the pf9 hurting the hands, the gun never did hurt my hands while shooting but it does have a good kick to it.
I would still recommend the PF9 even though I had bad luck with the one I bought. I still don't know what to do with
mine.
Any interest in selling it?

a few of us felt it in Maryville.

good to hear. I just called the cheapest local place I know of for guns. (Bills) and it looks like they want around 299 for one. I may wait til the next local gun show runs around and grab one of the ones for 249. I wish I could have remembered what shop it was. I think it was something called like RJ's or something. I dont remember right off.

I see if I get one, alot of people recommend doing a fluff and buff. Is this a fairly easy in home process?

got pulled over with mine...handed my DL and HCP, just asked where it was and I told them. They said just leave it there. Other than that I had no issue and they didnt seemed concerned with me having a firearm on me. Still got a ticket though for speed, but overall was no big deal.
