Yep. Hard to find and those that sell bring a premium. I'd like to have a Ruger 96 .22 mag that I can carry in my side-by-side out on the farm and not have to worry about it getting scratched. This one is just too good for what I need.

The FX Pocket Chronograph first version was built for air rifle use, but it does record velocities up to 1100 fps, or just a little more. That means it will record velocities for some .22LR ammunition, but not all. Any .22 lr round that makes a crack when fired will not record. So, Bobby this is no good for you.

The Model 44 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .44 Magnum manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Co. It uses a 4-round tubular magazine and was produced from 1961 to 1985.

Doesn't need to be a safe queen or a collector's model. I plan to shoot it.
