CCI's work fine in mine. The bulk Remington's work great, too. The bulk Winchester won't fire at all, about like you described.
Keep it clean and well oiled. I usually add a drop to the feed ramp as well. There are several videos on Youtube that show some mods to do. Mine was problematic until it got broke in good, 300 to 400 rounds. After that it's been great. Everyone loves to shoot it, and it's always the one I put the noobs on. Friend liked it so much he bought one. Same with his as far as ammo. Bulk Remington fires great, but not the Winchester.

Kahr CM9 or CW9. The CM is about $400, the CW a little pricier. I carry the CM9 daily IWB. Can't even tell it's there, and it's a 9mm versus the .380 or smaller. I really like it. So far about 500 rounds through it with no problems at all.

First time I take someone new with me to the range I start them with my Sig Mosquito .22. Full size frame, easy to shoot, minimal recoil, and pretty accurate. It builds confidence fast! Then I'll move them to a small .22 auto (Phoenix HP. little more recoil and more control needed), and if they do well up to a 9mm.

I bought a CM9 first week of November. Over three hundred rounds so far. Not a single problem. It is snappy and will leave your hand a little sore after a hundred or so, but it's not really a range gun. I like mine and have been carrying it every since my first trip to break it in.
I bought before Nov 30 to get the free seven round mag. Haven't gotten to try it out yet. Overall very satisfied.

Liberty, Rio Bravo, and Searchers are also among my faves.

Also just for safety measures bring somebody with you. Inspecting a gun puts you in a vulnerable position. Whether you decide to tell the seller/buyer is up to you.
Always take another party. I usually take my son or my brother. And we're always armed.

LS3_Kid = LS3 is the last C6 narrow body/GS Motor made and kid because I am younger than most people with Corvettes I guess. It kind of attracts flak but oh well.
Corvette owner as well! My first was a C3, then three C4's. Currently a white/red '84, Z51, 4+3 car.

It's pretty smooth. Got a lil' kick, but not too harsh.

I have a Kahr CM9. Small and compact, but it's a 9mm. Holds 6 + 1. Been using it for CCW since I broke it in. About 200 rounds through it first time out without a hiccup. $399 new, and will be getting a 7 round mag free through a mail in coupon Kahr offered.[/img]
I like the trigger. It is a little long, but always very smooth and consistent.

Hold out for at least 60 days in order for the chaos of the living dies down. After that, wait for cold weather (below freezing). Begin to make way north, establishing temporary secure locations whenever the temperature rises above freezing with the final destination being in Alaska. Zombies are at ambient temperature, so they should freeze solid or become sluggish in cold weather. This makes many parts of Alaska safe for most of the year. The land is still virgin enough that there is plenty of food provided by the landscape but not that many people populating the area.
Good plan right there. I hadn't thought about the freezing issue.

Nancy Grace.
I don't need three.
Heard that! I told the gf a couple of weeks back when NG was on tv I understood why Elvis shot his!

Good gun, but it is brutal on the hand if target shooting. My son had one and it did perform very well.

I had a Gen III 19 and a Gen III 17. Got a Gen IV 19 now with the TruGlo sights. Love the Glocks! Put well over 3k rounds with very few issues on the first G19. The one I have now I've got maybe 1k rounds through with one stovepipe. Usually my daily carry weapon. Dependable, easy to maintain, and comfortable to use. Just what I like!

Vanity plate on my car reads BADRACR. My initials are BAD and my gf''s are RAC. I added the "R" to the end make it say BADRACR. I use the same name on a couple of car sites I belong to, and it's easier to remember if I keep it the same.

Posted there as well.

"enjoy the ride."
Odd you should phrase it that way. I work for Nissan, and that was their slogan for years!
Thanks. Lookin' forward to cruisin' with you guys (and gals!).

Well, this is just what I needed. Another forum to steal away my time! Just kidding. Been lurkin' around here off & on for a while and decided to go ahead and join.
I live in East Ridge, a lil' 'burb of Chattanooga and a mile from the GA border. I have a carry permit, as does my son, and we exercise our right as much as legally possible. That's one reason I'm here. Seems to be a lot of good info here on the CCW laws and handguns in general. I'm on three other forums (none gun related) so I can't hang out a lot, but you'll see me pop in from time to time.
Glad to be here.

Agreed, but might help them feed better.
