[Hello from Halls]

We live between Powell and Halls   We shoot on our own property and hear firing from the Moose Lodge all the time....Music to our ears and just helps to make our horses bomb proof!

Good Times!     When my sons were small the family outings were usually baseball related.  Now that they are grown oddly enough its shooting and firearms. Its great though because they are teaching me.

Im about too take up the 1911 addiction if my bookkeeper(wife)approves. My son who has many Kimber 1911's and insists I need to own one.Ive been carrying a S&W 38 and my son I think wants his old man to stop embarassing him. He is offering me a sweet tactical custom II for a crazy low price!

I get frustrated attempting to explain to people I carry and pray Its never needed.  That the last thing I would ever want to do is actually need to pull it from the holster.  Im sure the majority of HCP folks feel this way....but we are labeled as brainless toothless rednecks.

My sister told me she still had my fathers service revolver. It is a nickel plated 1961Colt Python .357 In great shape. Ill get a pic posted soon.

Very nice knife! In my absence from the gun hobby for a couple years, I've gotten into nicer pocket knives. Now I rotate between two Kershaws and a SOG, all USA made tools. I'll be going to Gatlinburg this weekend and plan on stopping at SMKW and adding another to the rotation. :-D

And maybe also stop in and say hello to Gunny? He's going to be there Saturday!

Just completed all the required steps for my HCP and will try to wait patiently. In the mean time Ill enjoy this very cool website! So good morning from Knoxville!

Ill have to let my son know about this place. He is really into firearms and talked his mother and I into getting our HCP'S

I had shot rifles and shotguns all my life but never had picked up a handgun.My dad was ex-marine (one of the Frozen Chosen) and a career police officer. He could leave His gun belt out and my sister and I knew never to touch it.Perhaps thats why I waited so long! Still following Dad's orders!
