  1. Did anyone see the cover of Combat Handguns with the twin MAC's? I'm sure I'm gonna take a bit of grief for this but I thought they looked awesome. I'm just curious to hear anyones REAL experience with them not what they heard through a buddy.

I'm price shopping them now but once I found out they made a shoulder holster for them the choice was pretty much made.

Again I'm willing to take the grief for this but I like what I like.

  2. Just picked up this fine piece of Literature. This thing is a wealth of information. Wondering what others thoughts are on it and if anybody has read any of his other stuff. I just ordered Molon Labe his fiction work.

  3. I didn't know where to discuss this and I'm sure it's been brought up but I'm back in TN for a bit and wanted the fine members of this forum to tell me where they shoot. It's raining today so I'm hoping for an indoor place. I'm in Franklin and any advice will be appreciated.

  4. Check out http://www.silencertalk.com, they are a great resource for information.

They will promote AAC heavily but I have had a really positive expierence with Gemtech. I went to the Gemtech booth at the S.A.R. show in Phoenix and the guy gave me a factory threaded Ruger barrel for 60 bucks! I also like Elite Iron out of Arizona. Suppresors are like pringles after the first round pop you just can't stop.

  5. Does anyone here have experience cutting there own barrels? I have a New England Firearms 12 gauge that I picked up for 60 bucks. I want to give it the axe. I picked up a collapsible buttstock for it (I know very mall ninja, it was twenty bucks) I'll take it a gun smith but it seems pretty straight forward. Anybody with real world experience out there? If I'm going to make a tacti-cool single barrel I want to do it on the cheap you know?

  6. :)

Thanks for everyone on here that patiently schooled this "newb" through the ropes. You guys are always great about explaining things to people (mainly me) and not making me feel like a dumbass. So now that I got it what should I do with it? I need a bound book right?

Another question, it's a half page and the bottom half is a letter to me. When I copy it do I need to copy the bottom half to?

    :P:D

    I'm excited!

    :D

  7. While the polls may look discouraging, this thing isn't over. There are other polls out there that put this race in a statistical dead heat. The fat lady hasn't sung yet. Im feeling slightly optimistic here. Hell the Titans are 6 and 0 for goodness sake! So get out there and vote...and at least your will be conscious clear that you did your part. He that doesn't vote, will not have earned his right to complain should you know who get in.

Already voted now I'm just anxiously waiting....

  8. Today I was looking at the polls and I got very discouraged. Democratic house, senate and possibly a democratic president. My passion for firearms started right around the time the Brady bill was sunsetting so I did not have to suffer through any of it. This post is about two things. First I would like to know what is out there (I've heard of another version of Brady) and secondly I would like to hear what people are going to do if he gets elected.

Are you burying guns in the backyard? What would you buy? High capacity magazines? "assault style" weapons? NFA stuff? Am I making a mountain out of a molehill? I'm a relatively young guy so maybe I'm getting worked up for nothing. You tell me.

If Obama gets elected and you had a thousand dollars to spend what are you getting and then what are you doing?
