  1. I think both are great guns having shot both.. If you plan on carrying I might consider the PPQ, mainly because (or at least to me) the grip doesn't seem quite as 'long' as the VP9 and you still get the same # of rounds in each pistol.

  2. Love the feel, shoots great.. The only thing that bugs me about it is the grip is the same size as a Glock 17, but only holds 15 rounds.. Hoping they make a VP9c that is around the same size as a Glock 19 and still holds 15 rounds

  3. I'm a newbie when it comes to building AR's.. I've just always bought them complete.  I bought a BCM lower last week and found someone selling a complete lower here in Nashville. It's a Spikes set up as a pistol lower.  I want to change it in order to be able to use it with my BCM 16" upper. What do I need to do?

  4. I installed Trijicon HD's on my VP9 with my MGW Sight Pro.  Easy peasy.

I'll probably have someone install mine.. .I can already see me screwing it up big time lol

  5. I also ordered a set of the Trijicon HD night sights for it, the sights are fine on the gun but the luminescent glow doesn't last very long.. Have any of you that have the VP9 had the sights changed on them? I've heard it can be a bit tricky.

    Thanks in advance.

  6. They are a different breed.  Incredible trigger pull and extremely accurate.  Mine has converted a few Glock lovers already.  I suspect we will be seeing more variants over the next couple of years.

I love my glock 19 and 30, but those may start collecting dust soon.. Can't wait to get back on the range with it

  7. I carry a 30sf daily, looking into a 30s possibly... I also have an XDM 45 compact love that gun, but it's a tad bit heavier than my 30sf... I highly recommend testing out an M&P 45c, my friend has one and I cannot stand the trigger on that gun and I believe it's 8+1. In short I recommend a 30sf, 30s, or an XDM 45 compact

  8. Should show up when they run your DL number, as far as I know. Heck, your HCP number and DL number are the same. Tags though, no.

It does at least with your DL#, I was on a first date about two months ago and my date and I were in a public park (I did not have my gun with me) and the park closed at 11pm, and at about 11:10 we were making our way back to the car a few Franklin police officers were in the parking lot. They approached us and said that there are often drug users there after hours and asked for our licenses. We gave them our licenses and one officer went back to his car, came back and asked if I had my gun on me. I politely said 'no sir', he handed our licenses back to us and politely asked us to leave and to have a good night.

  9. Looks like you are not the only one that has been done that away reed http://www.topix.com/yp/lewisburg-tn/l-93227083-kens-guns-and-more

I posted my story on that site and Ken responded, he questioned whether or not I should be allowed to own a gun. I was irate at what happened, but I didn't do so much as raise my voice. I was calm and told them that I thought what happened was bull. As I was leaving the gun show I walked by his booth (it was right next to the exit) and he gave me a sarcastic "sorry" and I told him I would make sure I told everyone about what happened again in a very calm demeanor..

  10. We are getting some new gun shops in the MidState that have good prices and good inventory; you would think these dealers would want to sell product. We don’t have any in Murfreesboro yet, but I have a feeling we are due. biggrin.gif

Have you ever dealt with Pointe Blank in Murfreesboro? I've been in there a few times, but never bought anything..

  11. I can understand an honest mistake, but when the guy assured me 3 times that he would let it go for the price he said and offer no real apology no thanks... On a good note I bought my G30 from a vendor at the gun show, who has a store in Old Hickory called The Nashville Gun Company, and told them the story (they had the G30 for $10 more) the nice lady working there gave me $10 back for giving them my business.
