Made the cut

I actually saw one of those at the Hendersonville gun show a few weeks ago. Not sure if it was the exact one, but it did have that grip on it.
-
Yep. I was looking at small 380s for my wife. We ended getting the S&W bodyguard
-
I also think it was there. I did see the Talo engraved one for 409 which looked really awesome! As well as the zombie edition what makes it zombie edition is the green Z on it......... Dumb
Yeah that engraved one was pretty cool looking.
-
Pretty sure I saw one at guns and leather in greenbrier last night. May have been a tcp though. Not sure but it was pink

The story says he hit the guy in the leg and FOREHEAD? And he still ran off?
-
Check out crossbreed. Great quality and super comfortable
-
Yeah I've been waiting for this one. Watched some of the first season on Netflix and got hooked
-
looks good but the real question is how does it shoot?
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get to the range yet. Everything feels nice and smooth, so we'll see soon
-
Did you do all the work yourself?
Yeah I did everything. I was a bit nervous taking it on, but everything turned out going smoother than I could have hoped for

I went through that with Jimmy buffett. Tickets a couple years ago. I was online the minute tickets went on sale and they were still sold out immediately. An hour later the ticket were all over craigslist for 3-4 times the original price. Needless to say, I didn't make it to that one

Looks Great! What MFG is the single point sling attachment?
Thanks! The sling attachment is from tapco. I've heard of a lot of people that don't like tapco, but everything I've had is nice quality stuff. The stock had a little more wiggle than I like, but that was fixed with a piece of Velcro inside the tube of the stock. I have an sks with some tapco parts and it's been great too.

The built in laser is a nice feature too. Not real practical but still neat to have I guess

Anyone tried the new bud light platinum? It's pretty good. Best part is it's 6% alcohol

Don't know about the MS but I have a supertuck for my xd45 and love it. After the initial period of getting used to wearing it, you almost forget it's there

Mine expires in October. How far in advance can you renew?
-
Ok we just went out looking some more. We handled several and shot some. Ended up coming home with a smith & wesson bodyguard 380. We shot it first and both really liked it.

Make sure the wife has held and fired one first. long, heavy trigger guns with a fairly stout recoil... it is not the sort of gun that should be bought just because the price is right. The trigger pull on these things makes them extremely difficult to use, and I cannot recommend this class of weapon for a novice shooter. I do not KNOW that your wife is a novice shooter, but if she were experienced, she would be picking the gun out instead of you, so I made a leap of logic there
Well she picked it out and the price helps, but that's not the only reason we were looking at it. I'll find that other thread and read up.

I have seen where they are selling just the gun with no extras for something like $219. At that price you could afford to try it. Having owned one I wouldn't buy another one even at that price.
Academy has them for $199. So are you saying you didn't like it?

Does anyone have any experience with the Taurus TCP? Looking for something small for the wife. I know there are plenty of Taurus haters out there, but this looks like a pretty nice gun to me.
-
I don't know but it would be something I'm interested in learning more about too

Just finished my first AR build last week. Attached a few pictures. Don't know why the rail has a purple looking tint to it in the picture, it's not like that in real life. I started with a Spike's Tactical stripped lower, Del-ton enhanced lpk with two stage trigger, and a Tapco pistol grip and mil-spec stock. The upper is a Spike's stripped upper, Rainier Arms Thunderbolt bcg, BCM gunfighter charging handle, YHM lightweight 4 rail, YHM low profile gas block, Spike's melonited gas tube, Magpul front and rear MBUS, and a 14.5" Rainier Arms Barrel with a YHM phantom pinned and welded to it.

Jennings Nine. Just terrible. I've still got it tucked away in one of my drawers because i can't bring myself to sell this headache to someone else

Just finished my first build last week and I'm already looking into options for new builds!
