I picked up a CZ 455FS LR at Outpost Armory about a 2 weeks ago and it was discounted about 94 dollars from retail price.
The sale is still going on and they had a great selection. It's a beautiful rifle and shoots great. I would defiantly
recommend one. The 455 model has interchangeable barrels 22lr/22mag/17hmr -
I just picked up the 9mm Shield and am very satisfied with the size, fit and finish.
The Shield shoots great as I fired about 50 rd without any problems.The only issue
I found is that the 7 rd Magazine when full is very hard to seat in the pistol, but hopefully
the spring will compress a little and resolve that issue. Here are some pic's comparing the size with the

Its a !980 model according to the serial number and I think in the mid 70's they dropped the disconnect
so I don't think it will slamfire.

I have been looking for this version of the Ithaca M37 for many years
and finally found one from an guy at a gun show. This is a DS Police Special
7+1, it has been a safe queen and is beautiful example of a classic HD Shotgun.
You don't hear a lot about the Ithaca that much anymore but back when I was
growing up it was a very desired shotgun. I'm lucky to have found it.
It's not an example of your evil black shotgun but its definately an example
of fine old world craftmanship. Just thought I'd share. Heres a link on its history.

There are actually 2 versions of the pistol in the Russian commercial version one with the standard 8 rd magazine and a high cap double
with 10rd capacity. The 10 round has a larger opening for the tapered magazine to fit and the grip is larger. The standard 8 will fit the
high cap but will wobble at the bottom due to the increased size opening. The same magazine works for the 9x18 or 380.

I don't know if your interested in a complete wood set, I ordered a set from Apex Gun Works that was in great shape
complete with buttplate for 25.00, looks great on the gun.

As of yet, Smyrna has not opted out.
However, all of the parks still have the old signs up (I don't think any of them are compliant).
Todd do you know if the walk is part of the park system?
If Smyrna Ops out will it be off limits to HCP's?

Look at the Bersa Firestorm FS22, same size as Bersa 380, My wife and daughter in law both qualifed for their Permits with one. It's a good gun and fun to shoot.

I quess what I'm asking is it considered a public sidewalk or part
of the park. I don't think if a town opts-out they even have to post.

Does anyone know if carrying is allowed on the walking trail
in Smyrna that runs from the Stewart Creek Boat Dock
to the Recreational park on Sam Ridley? I think that Smyrna
opted-out on their local parks, so not sure how that applies.

Ive thought about mounting a holster to the back of my nightstand. Do you think it was be easier to have it there then in the top drawer? I dont have kids, so I dont worry about little ones getting to it. The location of my nightstand is good, you dont ever see behind it. Any thoughts?
Just screw a part of a belt across the back of the nightstand
down low , get a cheap uncle mikes clip on holster and slide it over the belt , works great.

Ithaca Model 37 Deerslayer with 20' Smoothbore barrel. Good self defense
and large game hunter with bottom ejection, work well for right or lefthander.

Make sure you only load brass that you have shot from the gun your firing. That loader only neck resizes and brass from another gun will probably cause chambering problems in it, since the case was formed
in that chamber. The only way that I know to get around that problem
is to full length resize other cases in a press. If you have loaded some cases other than shot from that gun, remove the slide and see
if case slides in without a problem.

My wife fired a Bersa Firestorm 22 qualifying for her carry permit, she loves
the gun. Same size as the 380 Bersa, shoots Remington Bulk fine , doesn't like
Bulk federal value pack.

AAAAAHH! I just got my first Winchester 94 recently. I was just posting about it on USGO. I would LOVE to have the mount.
I'm going to go dig through my shop right now and find some more stuff to pay forward.

Check out this site, I had a convertable pocket holster made
for my Guardian 32acp, can carry in front pocket or rear with attachable
flap, doesnt print at all in rear with flap attached. reasonably priced too.

If your not wanting something too fancy, a Uncle Mike's Sidekick Size 1.
My Ij-70 fits one and is very comfortable. Only change I made was a retention
strap.

I have one on my 43 and it functions fine, don't know about long term but I have had it a few months and shot about a box of 9mm with no issues.
Was going to get Strikeindustries EMP + 2 extension rather than pearce but they have been unavailable for Months.
