1. SA seems a little late on this release, I see the logic getting 9mm and 45 out to market first but I believe the market share may be taken by the shield by now.

  2. Title says it all, had some TFX sights put on my 43 and not super thrilled about shortening the sight radius that much and I am used to a higher viz front sight like the HDs offer,so I thought about changing them out. But I have my ole trusty Glock 23.3 that gets nightstand duty every night that has been in need of a sight upgrade for a while so I thought of killing 2 birds with one stone. If I take the TFX off the Glock 43, even though they are smaller will they fit and work on the 23?

    Thanks in advance

  3. I loved my glock 43, I thought it was so great... that is untill I shot it side by side with a Springfield XDs 9. I no longer own a glock 43 :D

I started with a XDs but went to a shield for ergo reasons, it felt better in the hand where the XDs always felt chunky. And then the 43 came out and I am not a Glock guy really but man it fits my hand like they made it for me.

  4. When the 300 blackout barrel comes out I may only use it, want to use the Tavor to hunt some hog and that would be an even more effective round for that purpose if ammo prices will ever come down Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I read that reduces the weight of pull by several pounds but have not had the chance to try on mine yet
Also read this but it will also void warranty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I may play with the stock one and try a laser if not go with one of those and a light. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9.
I am excited about the triggers being developed for this rifle, I think by the end of the summer there will be at least 3 Aftermarket precision triggers for the rifle, with the Eotech glass on my rail and Surefire light this pup is nearly perfectly balanced, it feels incredible to hold and maneuver, I still have not shot it and am already in love with it It will be shot tomorrow
Yeah I haven't decided on my optic yet... I do know I want to use that push button up front for something... Laser maybe... May put a brake on mine too instead of a hider haven't decided yet. So any thoughts would be welcome. Mine will be shot in two weeks as soon as it returns from conversion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. thanks, now I just need to figure out what optic I want to put on this thing....and maybe save up for a trigger and change the little things like flash hider....man that thing looked mean with my smoke lancer L5 AWM fully loaded in her.

  11. Well I sold an AR from the collection to move to something different, so I got a Tavor. Mine is the FDE 18" version... liked that extra 1.5" of barrel while still same length as a registers SBR. Got it yesterday and sent it off to PA today to have the whole thing swapped to left hand!! now the two week wait. love that it will take my AR mags and co-witness with any of my AR optics with ease.

  12. The SCAR 17 is a pretty neat rifle, but it does have features I don't care for, namely the proprietary magazine and reciprocating charging handle.  It's also crazy expensive IMHO for what it is.  If I was going to go high-end .308 auto (my DPMS with swapped furniture and trigger suits me just fine), I would build an AR pattern from top-shelf components.

The proprietary mags and reciprocating charging handle are the major knocks and kinda deal breakers for me in that price point...Like willis68 I just got a Tavor. Got it yesterday and sent it off to PA today to have the whole thing swapped to left hand!! now the two week wait. love that it will take my AR mags and co-witness with any of my AR optics with ease.
It can be configured for left hand eject
I know but now has to be sent back to IWI for the conversion and from what I have read they give you the right hand bolt back but not the wrench needed to convert back to right hand if needed/wanted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
