  1. I just put together the big brother to the ar15 that I love.

Rock River LAR 8 Varmint 20"ss barrel with 1/2 Quad rail, harris bipod, larue QD 104LT scope mount, Night Force 3.5-15x50 mil dot w/milrad zero stop speed turrets. The LAR 8 is the top rifle. One below it is its little brother rock river ar15.

Can't wait to smell some gun powder!!

Caleb's second deer last day of season this year. These are the things memories are made of!

My second 9pt. this season. My son was sitting with me when I got this one and if he could have ever spotted it, I was going to let him shoot it but it did not work out that way. We call this one OUR buck!

  3. Lets take inventory, shall we!

This is what I already have.

Climbing stands-3 summits(2titans/1-180), one lone wolf sit & climb

Lock on stands- 2 api's, one lone wolf with climbing sticks(this thing is freaking awesome!)

    Buddy ladder stands-2

    ladder stands-3

    Double bull matrix blind

    SC2 shooting house on 7ft. 4x4's

    1 atv-Arctic cat 500

    Gps-meridian gold

    Z71

Trailer w/lockable tool box on front

    hunting land-8000 acres total

    Bushnell bone collector trail camera

All the camo clothing you can imagine.

What I am saying is, I absolutely have it made with equipment. What I need is a 150 class buck in my sights and a lot more time to enjoy the outdoors!

I do, however, thank god for all the blessings in my life.

  4. Very nice indeed!!! What's your plans on the Eotech? Are you planning on mounting it on an angle for short work and leave the scope for long range?

I plan to take the scope off when expecting close work. I have QD mounts on the scope and the 512. Might try the side mount thing, but do not think I would like it much. Both claim to hold zero. We shall see!!

  5. Hey guys! I have a 700CDL 7mmUM and it is the berries!! I had a 3# trigger job done and had it Pillar bedded and floated and it is a tack driver. Love the shiracco 150 grains in it!! The recoil is smooth, too, with the heavy wood stock. Only downfall is that it averages out to be close to $3 a shot for factory loads!! But I LOVE this rifle. I put a swarovski ballistic recticle 3-10X 40 on it and would ask for nothing else on a long range shooter!

  6. I saw a guy on here a while back that had purchased a offbrand buttstock like the PRS. Do you guys know where I can get the info to order one of these. I can not find the post!

    Thanks!

  7. looks to me like you could probably land a plane with the light reflections that would be coming off of that thing!

If my scope lense will refect enough light without a filter to spook a coyote/wary buck/spotter then i'm sure that I would get busted pretty soon with that thing.

Not impressed. Give me a good asat leafy suit any day!!

Oh yeah, and camo that rifle!!

  8. Mine was a Ruger Super redhawk 44mag. Stainless steel with rosewood handles. Put a red dot scope on it to hunt big game with. Bought it when I was real young and it was my first pistol. The gun was great, but it was hard to be accurate with it for my own personal reasons.

I was 18. I was always trying to squeeze the trigger and run from the recoil at the same time.

    Never mastered it.

  9. Not unless the church is posted.....

Now whipping out your Glock in the middle of Church...Not so smart....

Thank you. I was under the impression that they were off limits.

As for whipping out the glock, he was showing it to me in a very discrete manner. No one was anywhere within sight of where we were. He was very professional and safe about the whole thing. I just thought that it was a no-no to have it at a church, but was not posative.

Now, is a daycare for children off limits? I always disarm when taking my son into daycare. I figure it is probably considered a school type situation. Am I correct or is it ok if not posted?

  10. Hey guys, I do not post often, but visit the site very often.

I have a question. I am a little confused. OK Im always confused.

I was at a rehersal dinner at a church this weekend. We were going thru the moves and I sat down in a pew during some dead time. My brother-in-law sat down next to me and pulled out a new glock that he purchased. He was just wanting to brag on it.

I was under the impression that it was illegal to carry in a church. Is it legal or a non carry situation?

    Thank you in advance!

  11. Nice pics! If you ever need somebody to go hog hunting with, give me a call...B)

Thanks KahrMan I'll keep that in mind. I am currently looking for another piece of land to lease in the area that I like to hog hunt in. If I find one I will give you a yell!!

  12. Nice! Being in Crossville helps a lot. I used to get the Catoosa draw hunts every now and then. Saw a lot of pigs in that area.

    *EDIT*

I misread where you were from. lol

I got my first hog at catoosa. it was a young boar. He is on the wall. I now wish that I had mounted the boar that You see in the above picture. He was nice , but I thought , how many pigs do you really need on your wall. They are ugly!!

All my others came from western putnam co.
