I have a single-six convertible. Nice gun. But, I am partial to Ruger...

I started with a Rockchucker and find it adequate for my needs. I did convert to the Lock rings. Hornaday and Forrester offer the rings. I prefer the Forrester rings. I did add an RCBS Jr to the bench that is strictly for de-priming as that is a messy task. I am in the process of moving and hope to be setting up my re-load bench within the next month or two.

Navy moved me to San Diego in 1974 after about 5 years in Japan, about 46 years ago. Rather than move again, I got out of Navy, found a descent paying job and raised a family. It was a great place to live until cost of living escalated to a point where a retiree can’t afford to live there.

I am a recent transplant from the chaotic hustle of Southern California to a little town called Bell Buckle in middle Tennessee. Wife and I have been here for 6 months and expect to be moving into our home and resuming a “normal” retiree life style within the month. We are currently living in our motorhome on 28.6 acres while it is being developed into a wedding/party venue, the dream of step-son and his wife. It has been an interesting experience building roads and pads for buildings. We are enjoying the rural life!

Handgun carry in a horse

As a disclaimer, I am not a horse rider. I have ridden ATVs and do own a side-by-side. I did get a holster where my Ruger Blackhawk is across my front where it is easy to reach and does not interfere with arm movement.
