The only strikers I have now are Glock and SW. My "go to" pistols are Glocks but my hammer guns by Beretta , CZ , and Ruger are just as reliable. So I guess I go both ways .
Whatever floats your boat my dude!

I'll be traveling to the east side this weekend, Knoxville, if anyone is interested
I’d love to have the budget for both but the S2O is the only one that I have on my wish list. I’d have to offload a lot of toys to afford it though! If you’re keen to shoot in Knoxville with another CZ fan tomorrow AM I’ll be at the range around 10!
Cheers,

I’ll give a shout out to Volunteer State Armory in Lenoir City.
Bobby does a great job and has always taken great care of me!
Who do you frequent?

School me on Knoxville area outdoor rifle ranges.

recommendations on indoor ranges.
Only been to one outdoor around here but had a great time. Windrock up toward Oliver Springs is an outdoor range with steel targets out to about 150 for ARs, some pistol steel and paper bays, and a dedicated plinking steel course. Reasonable pricing and nice folks!
Indoor favorite is Range USA(formerly Shoot Point Blank) in West Knoxville. 20 stalls and decent rental selection. Get a membership!

My understanding is that tampons excel.
Actually this is not accurate and he went over this specific misinfo in the course! Z-fold gauze is the way!

I don’t have a preference as long as the primer is ignited.
That being said, out of the box hammer fired pistols are far easier to shoot resulting in much better accuracy…for me.

I only own striker fired handguns but there are several CZ's with a hammer I would love to have.
Most of my handguns are CZs or CZ clones(Canik/Tristar). I generally like to tweak and fiddle with stuff and after a little polishing and internal swaps they can achieve some truly incredible triggers! Highly recommend!

Hi TNGO!
Figured I should learn to plug the perforations so I popped out to a Stop The Bleed course in the East Tennessee area(Maryville) a few months ago. Wasn’t sure how many folks would be in the class and to my surprise it was just me that Saturday AM. Instructor was ex-EMT and Fire and I was fortunate to receive 4 hours of one-on-one training which helped develop my bandaging and tourniquet skills. Highly recommend, it’s more likely to be needed than your sidearm!
Check out my dude!

How do you prefer to punch your primers?
i’m strictly a Hammer fan for a few reasons but am curious about the grass on the other side and who likes what and why. Do striker fired folks swing both ways or are they striker only?

JV
