  1. Any experienced Contender users here? I have a new 12 inch barrel from the G2 era that won't release when I pull the trigger guard - it takes one hand on the trigger guard and one on the barrel to open. The fit on assembly and closing is fine. They are supposed to be backwards compatible, and my frame had worked fine with any generation "G1" and SSK barrels that I've tried.

  2. Have read many instances of quality issues with Gallatin made Berettas - most Google results seem to be from 2018-2020. Does anyone have experience with a current production model, and have the fixed the quality issues? The issues seem to be : 1. Machining, 2. Fitting, 3. Poor Finish.  4. Some of the metal parts have been replaced with plastic parts.

I'm finding some online dealers with SKU's that are not on the current Berretta site but appear to be the same models. Could those be "old bad" models, and new SKU's are improved.

    Thanks,

  4. Looking for experience-based suggestions for an under (rear) seat long gun safe for my Ram 1500. Ideally it would be able to hold 2 long guns with scope or optic. This is a common example; however, it requires raising the seat to access (vs drawer type) and does not appear tall enough to hold an AR with an optic vertically. This is my first time doing this, so Product suggestions and things to consider are appreciated. Thank you

  5. For a beginner or someone who just wants an AR, consider the DelTon DT Sport Mod 2 - due to the user friendly upper configuration:

Lightweight (pencil) Barrel (melonite finish includes bore)

    Front Sight Tower

Carbine gas length and Car handguard (light weight and balance)

Comes with folding Mako plastic sight, so good to go out of the box, but not sure of the quality.

So, let me get this straight, you're looking for a rear iron sight that will work on the rail in hand with the front post? Or one that is actually a mounted to the receiver and not the rail? Because I have a couple of ideas, one is simple and not that expensive, the other one involves a gunsmith who knows how to think outside the box and does custom jobs regularly.

Just saw your note. Looking for an aperture to attach to the rail on the receiver to use in conjunction with the factory front sight. The barrel mounted sight would be removed. Thanks,
