I'm gonna get picked apart for this, but I just can't imagine spending the price tag for these firearms. I get the precision and craftsmanship. In fact I want one, but when i see some of these $4000+ pistols I have to ask myself "what kind of unobtainium is this made out of?" I'm sure there's a 'how it's made' episode out there that would dispel my thoughts, but nothing is gonna dispel the price.  But hey.. wealth is all relative, right?

I love 2011s and I’m working on a solid collection but it’s hard to argue that they’re not overpriced, especially Staccato and “above”.

It is nice to see more “budget” options coming out, imo. I think it will allow more people to get exposure to a great platform.

What brands/models have you been considering? I started with a Prodigy and would recommend it as a great entry into 2011s.

Edit: If you ever want to shoot some 2011s and see if the hype is real, I’m happy to let you shoot some of mine. I typically shoot a couple times a week in Columbia.

  2. Looking to sell my Staccato P. Great gun, no issues, just not shooting it enough and need to make some room. Unsure of round count as I bought it used but it has minimal slide to frame “wiggle” and very little wear, if any.

$2300 gets you the gun, mags, iron sight plate, RMR/SRO plate and Staccato bag. Optic can be included for another $250.

Must have TN ID and be legally able to own firearms. Located in Spring Hill and willing to travel ~20 miles.

Possible trades: Higher end 2011s or CZ Shadow 2 optic ready.

Price reduced. Probably won’t lower it more, I’d rather keep it I think.

I dearly love the 1911. But I'm not a fan of the double stack style. Its heavy, bulky and doesn't feel right in my hand.

I do have a Para-Ordnance P-14. But I don't shoot it much. I keep it because my younger son gave it to me and its a commemorative version for his service in Iraq.

    Nice pistol!

I hear you! They're definitely not for everyone. I actually like the weight for plinking. And I really like the aesthetic/modern look of many 2011s. Like a current model sports car vs a classic muscle car.

I bought my first one in the early 2000s and it's been a downhill slide into addiction ever since.   My single stacks really haven't seen the range very much since then.  I've built several and still have a few frames and slide sets I need to do something with.

    Holy #### man! That's a sick collection.

  5. Selling my WC 9mm CQB. Love this pistol but I don't shoot it enough and need to make some room. I bought it used on here and I'm not sure of the round count. I've put around 1k through it. I tried to get pics of the wear. It's definitely not brand new, but it's still extremely tight and shoots great. If you'd like any specific pictures, let me know. Comes with gun, two mags, box, bag, and all paperwork.

Looking for $2600obo FTF within 30 miles of Spring Hill. Must have valid TN DL and be legal to own a firearm.

Not looking for trades other than a Staccato XC.

  6. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, wasn't sure where to post.

I'm in Spring Hill and prefer outdoor so I shoot mostly at Charlie's and Truelove Tactical, but I'm always looking for more options with differing experiences. Any recommendations from the group?
