I just got this Luger. From what i have read and found it looks to be a DWM first edition. was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me anymore about it. mag is not original. guy that i got it from said it was his dads, i don’t really care about value just possibility of wartime use or other historical insight that could be offered. any help is very appreciated!

PSA GF3 around 200-300 rounds fired. all forged internals. never shot steel only brass cased Norma. Located in Cleveland(just north of chattanooga)

the hammer mechanism still locks back and is released by the trigger. the person i got it from claimed to have fired it once but i have no personal evidence of that
