I was recommended this forum through a friend on Reddit actually but I think I’m going to like it here! I’m a lifelong resident of East Tennessee and I love and grew up around guns and all the outstanding outdoor experiences accessible to us here. I used to enjoy hiking, fishing, and camping in particular has always been my favorite.
I’ve lost four toes in the past year and a half and am transitioning into disability and limited mobility but camping and range time are still doable, and I’m discovering and enjoying connecting with these communities and forums for local folks with similar interests.
I’m a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and I’m very grateful to live in a state that supports our rights, and personally I feel exercising that right is not only a privilege but also a duty. Many lives have been sacrificed to protect these distinctly American rights and that resonates deeply and is not lost on me. I sincerely feel that an armed populace is a peaceful populace and believe that if more citizens fulfilled their duty of responsible firearm ownership and carry that there would be substantially less headlines of people being victimized.
I look forward to hearing from y’all and thank you for allowing me to be a part of this community!
