  1.

On another note, Joey's Pizza at 897 Elm Hill Pike is good for an experience of New York food in Nashville. They're only open for lunch during the week. No weekend or evenings. They are like the pizza Nazis, however.

+1 for Joey's/ Great pizza. If you just want to eat get there around 11:30 or after 1:00. If you want entertainment go during the lunch rush and hope that Joey starts talking to the customers or Chris (Joey's wife) gets on the phone. It winds Stephanie (daughter) up and it can get fulL Brooklyn in a heartbeat.

  2. I'm the same way, I've been known to spend 3x the money and double the time to not have to fool with something that shouldn't need frequent changing. BMW can't seem to make a PS hose that doesn't weep after 30k and the plastic PS reservoirs are crap.

interestingly enough I am replacing those wonderful hoses tomorrow in one of ours. In the last year I have learned how to become much more of a mechanic than I ever imagined. BUT, it's at my own pace.

  3. My 10 and 18 year old are both studying at Family First Martial arts in Cool Springs. I don't know how far you might or might not want to drive. They believe in a well-rounded student and start it with respect and positive reinforcements. It's not a contract type school. It's month to month. We learned about it from our neighbors and can't say enough good things about it.

    From their site

" A modern mixed martial arts curriculum incorporating many styles, such as Goju-Shorei, Muay Thai Boxing, Judo, Tae Kwon Do and Goju-Shorei Ju Jitsu. With a focus on leadership, bully prevention, diabetes awareness, acts of kindness, community projects, the list goes on"

The number listed on the site is their mobile. Give them a call, it would probably be a better representation of the people than what I could give you here.

  4. As for the range question: Charlie Haffner Memorial Range (CHMR) is in (beside?) Spring Hill. The website data is a little bit dated. The membership fee is now $60/year. In addition to being closed the first full weekend of each month, they are now closed every Thursday.

My brother lives on the Williamson county side of Spring Hill and loves it.

Charlie has a new updated site

  5. For bourbon, it's WL Weller Reserve...butterscotch in a glass. For scotch, The Balvenie 14 year old Carribean Cask. for Irish, Red Breast 12 year old single pot.

Haven't had the 14 yr Caribbean...yet. But the 15 single and 17 are always on hand. Once every handful of years I buy a bottle of the 21. Hard to find something as smooth as The Balvenie...at least to me.

  6. I have been on mine for 7 years now and have only had to go one night without it when the power went out. I travel for work so I have 2. One for home and one for travel. Currently I have a resmed C9 for home and a RemStar M series for travel. Both work great. If you travel and need a travel unit you can look on craigslist and have your DME set it for you or learn to set it yourself.

The Swift LT nasal pillows work well for me but that's just me. I could never get a good seal with a full mask or nasal mask due to facial hair.

Good luck with it. I hope it works out soon for you.

  7. You can always try Sams and get case pricing. If you start heading for the restaurant wholesalers you will probably find the meat (at least the pork) way to enhanced to taste like anything other than ham.

If youre not already a member then BBQ Central - The best BBQ and grilling forum on the internet is a great resource.

No doubt you already know how to make a great product but always good ideas and help there and no doubt you would be a help and source of ideas for the rest of us as well.

Thats a beautiful rig. Do you compete ?

  8. and here is what some parent rec'd last night. nothing like stirring up the parent.

A message from TRINITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Parents, this is Chris Schwartz, Principal at Trinity. Our meeting about the new school has been re-scheduled to Tuesday, June 15th at 6:30 at Trinity Elementary. Dr. Looney will be attending the county commission meeting tomorrow night urging the Williamson County Commission to opt out of the guns in parks Act. If the Commission does not opt out, the district will not be able to use county parks for athletic, academic or any other events. Again the Trinity meeting will be Tuesday, June 15th. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please call the school if you have any questions and have a good evening.

  9. Fired up both smokers at 1:00 AM with about 40lbs of mammal flesh. Then will have the grill going tonight.

actually had it planned anyway and realized it was earth day when I saw the thread. I try to treat the place with respect every day not just some ridiculous one day ritual...kinda like only going to church on easter :D

  10. I've seen his holsters, wasn't very impressed. The man who owns the Saddle Shop in Triune makes OWB holsters of good quality. There is a gentleman at Guns and Leather who makes holsters. And there is a man in Franklin named Tony who makes anything leather and also sells and works on guns. I can't recall his shop's name. It is a small shop just down from Franklin Gun Shop.

  11. It's a little bit of a drive, but Owl Hollow is where I go to shoot outdoors. It's on Owl Hollow Rd. in Franklin. I can't remember the specific address, but maybe somebody can help out with that.

This out door range is situated in the rolling hills of Tennessee, south of Franklin, off US 431 at 2795 Owl Hollow Road / Franklin, TN 37064
