  1. I will be going on a week long tour this summer from TN to New Orleans with several stops along the way and back. I have my permit and am good to go in each state we visit and pass through. However, the tour company has this posted on their website: "Due to Federal and State laws, no firearms are allowed on motor coaches." Anyone know of state or federal laws pertaining to "motor coaches?" If there is not, I'm suspecting this is the tour company's way of shifting the blame to the governments for their not allowing guns on their buses.

  2. Since you are going for work I don't know how much free time you will have, but if you have some free time you are definitely going to some amazing places. In Zurich you are only 1 hour from Mt. Pilatus and Lake Lucerne. Both of which are awesome.

Then in Paris don't fail to go up in the Eiffel Tower. You can see it from just about anywhere in the city. Also go to Notre Dame Cathedral (whether Catholic or not, it is amazing to read the history of the place and see all that is in there). And if you can, take a river cruise on the River Seine. It is an amazing, once in a lifetime experience (especially the night cruise and see the Eiffel Tower lit up in the dark).

And of course in Munich you have to go the Hofbrauhaus Beer Hall. Founded in 1589 it is one of Munich's oldest beer halls.

Have fun and soak in every moment you can.

  3. This is insane! A father and son gun shop owners got into it with a father and son who were customers over a $25 repair bill on a firearm. Guns were pulled and the owners were killed and the customers were hurt bad. Police are still trying to determine exactly what happened.

    This happened in Mississippi.

  4. Anybody on here bought any stock in firearms companies lately? I was looking at stock prices tonight and realized if I had bought any stock in Ruger a year ago I would have doubled my money. Smith and Wesson would have tripled my investment. If I'd only known.

  5. http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_29327985/muslim-workers-fort-morgan-fired-over-prayer-dispute

About 150 workers, most of them immigrants from Somalia, have been fired from a meat packing and distribution plant on Colorado's Eastern Plains for walking off the job to protest a workplace prayer dispute.

Depending on the season, the Muslim workers prayed at different times of the day, typically in about five-to-10 minute blocks, Hussein said. But recently a decision was made at the plant to change the practice.

"The workers were told: 'If you want to pray, go home,' " Hussein said.

  6. Anybody on here ever been to Tombstone, AZ?

I've been to Arizona three times but never made it to Tombstone to see the reenactment at the OK Corral. It appears somebody really messed up with the props.

TUCSON, Ariz. (Reuters) - An actor and a woman in the crowd were shot with live bullets during a street reenactment of an Old West gunfight at a show in Arizona that was supposed to be using blanks, authorities said.

  7. So here was a college with about 3,000 students, multiple buildings, and ONE unarmed security guard to "protect" all of that?! And from what I've read there was a recent debate among the college administration on whether to employ "armed" guards and it was split 50/50 on whether to do so. They decided not to do so because "armed guards would change the culture of the campus." I think the culture of the campus is now changed forever.

  8. My wife and I just took a trip to the Canadian Rockies and I doubt we will ever get over it. What an amazing and glorious place this place is to see. These pics were made with a Canon T5 Rebel and I'm still learning.

  9. Movie producer, Martin Scorsese, wants others to get behind a project in which every time a fake gun is used in a movie, a real gun should be destroyed. It's amazing what ideas come out of Hollywood.

    https://uk.movies.yahoo.com/post/127545457601/martin-scorsese-will-destroy-a-real-gun-each-time

Martin Scorsese has thrown his support behind a campaign that will mean that real guns are destroyed every time a fake one is used on screen.....

“If we can set this as a standard then who knows how many lives could be saved. The simple fact is that there are too many guns and they ruin people’s lives every day.

“These guns can keep working for up to 70 years. That’s a lot of people they can potentially kill in that time.”

  10.        Bill and Hillary are at a Yankees home game, sitting in the first row, with the Secret Service people directly behind them. One of the Secret Service guys leans forward and whispers something to Bill. At first, Clinton stares at the guy, looks at Hillary, looks back at the agent, and shakes his head "no". The agent then says, "Mr. President, it was a unanimous request of the entire team, from the owner of the team to the bat boy." Bill hesitates...but begins to change his mind when the agent tells him the fans would love it! Bill shrugs his shoulders and says, "Ho-Kay! If that is what the people want. C'mere Hilly baby..." With that, Bill gets up, grabs Hillary by her collar and the seat of her pants, lifts her up, and tosses her right over the wall onto the field. She gets up kicking, swearing, screaming, "Bill you"!$#@&!". The crowd goes absolutely wild. Fans are jumping up & down, cheering, hooting and hollering, and high-fiving. Bill is bowing, smiling and waving to the crowd. He leans over to the agent and says, "How about that; I would have never believed how much everyone would enjoy that!" Noticing the agent has gone totally pale, he asks what is wrong. The agent replies, "Sir, I said they want you to throw out the first "pitch."
