First off be careful trad. archery is addictive. Listen to rob on this and I'll second tradgang it's a great website if your into traditional archery. Please don't over bow yourself on weight it will make for a bad experience. No shame in starting with a low weight and building up. Their is a big difference in a recurve and a compound in terms of let off and what weight your actually holding back. As far as arrows I would go with feathers and not vanes if your shooting off the shelf. You'll find loads of info on tradgang get on there and sign up. One more thing if you can find someone nearby that's shoots a recurve or longbow I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you out. Happy shooting.

Any trappers out there? I'm interested in getting started and looking for some help.

It is not an advertisement just wanted some input on how much difference i should look at on a trade. If you feel you need to delete the post my apologies it was not my intenions to try and trade a gun outside the sale/trade forum. I am looking at getting a Glock 34 for IDPA and such and I have the Kimber that does not get shot so I thought I would trade it off and didn't want to get screwed in the trade. Again I'm sorry and if you need to delete the post do so.

I have a Kimber Custom II with a couple mags what would be a decent trade toward a glock 34?

I have a Gen 3 Glock 22 with approx 100 rounds through it, night sights, three 15rnd mags, Serpa holster, and 1200 rnds of ammo. What would be fair asking price on it? Looking at getting into a 1911 platform.

I went with an SWR Spectre and i am very pleased with it so far. It is a stainless can that is rated for 22lr, 22 mag, 17 hmr, and 5.7 and can also be taken apart for cleaning which is a big plus for 22 ammo.

Just had a suppressor clear in less than two months. From pending to approval was three weeks exactly. It was my first transfer i was very suprised it went so quick i was expecting to wait a few more months.

Anyone know where i can get a barrel threaded around Chattanooga. Would like to have done local but may have to send it off..

Ordered SWR Spectre yesterday for 355.00 shipped now the wait starts. I went with the Spectre because it is a take apart can and multi caliber rated 22lr, 22 mag, 17hmr, 5.7. What is the average wait time going right now?

Any body know the best way to go about removing spray paint from a shotgun without harming the finish on the gun? Come across a cheap Mossberg but someone did a home made camo job with spray paint.

Minimum of 40 hours. They do scenarios and stress course with day and night training.

From an LEO's point of view you do not have to notify the officer but it is a good idea if you are carrying at the time to let them know to keep everybody mellow. When an officer has to walk up on a vehicle in the middle of the night they are on high alert anyways and seeing a gun will put them into overdrive.
