  1. I've been to Goodman shows both days on one admission price as long as you don't wash the ink off of your hand.

    Have they changed that?

Yes, I had to pay on Saturday and then again on Sunday. They used a different hand stamp. So I had to spend another 7 buck just to see the guy that sold me his product for an exchange. SUCK.

  2. GREAT DAY! Got a Laserlyte Rear sight laser for my XD @ the Gun Show!

WOW! Today was a GREAT DAY!! Went to the gun show today and took my Grandfather. He took his Glock 19 & I took my Springfiel XD 9mm SC. Well anyways he bought himself a Laserlyte rear sight laser for his Glock. After they guy installed it he looked at me and said "now give him yours" That's right! He bought me one too!! Got them as soon as you walk in to your left. Behind the gun check. Place was Alpha & Omega Gun Works. Delt with John.

Oh and to top off the day, I get home and my CrossBreed Supertuck was in the mailbox!!! Let me tell you, I put the CrossBreed on and WOW! This thing is Amazing! Comfortable as all get out. YESSSS!!!! What a day, What a day!

About the same price as everywhere else, so no big "GUN SHOW" discount, but he did install right then.

As far as the people, we got there around 10am and it was not to bad, but by 12:00 it was PACKED!!! Oh and stay away from the BlackHawk Serpa holsters in the back right hand corner, They were $15 MORE then retail! Oh and I saw the shinny rhinestone belts too. Didn't see but a couple of good Gun Belts?!? LOTS of Knives. No airsoft that I could see.

    Here are a few Pics.......

I was there at the show. Bought a new GLOCK 26 for $500. I had the Guide Rod and Spring that supposedly reduce recoil for my GLOCK 30, works normal, just a little tighter but have not shot with it so cannot rate it. Also had it done for the 26. Got home, played with the 26 and can’t pulled the slide back, too tough. Took it back on Sunday, had to pay another $7 to get in. He said that spring is incorrectly installed. He replaced it. It work but you would have to muscle the pull. I played with it all night and it suck. It required too much force, 2 out of 10, I was able to pull it back and unable to use the slide release. Tried his site, no good. Tried calling but no pickup, no way of reaching the seller. I now just want my money back or trade the $50 for something else, maybe a trigger release extension.

  3. A friend of mine is here with her laptop that won't boot up. Can I plug the laptop HD into my PC to see if her HD is bad? If so, can you explain how I go about doing that?

    Thanks in advance.

What model? When the PC boot, you should at least get some display. If you don't get any display, it could be the PC. You should be able to press F12 on a Dell to get the option to go in the BIOS. If you see the hard drive there, then physical HD might be good and only the OS might be corrupted. If you do not get any display then, it might be the machine. If you would like help, I can try to help if you give me a number. Its my daily job, getting people up and running, data recovery for those user that refuse to backup or do not know what it is. Free of charge for pro gun supporter.

  4. I prefer the Glock 27. It has a double recoil spring and to me actually kicks less than the 26. I've been carrying it for years with a clip draw attached to the slide. Nice, small, and packs a pretty serious round....

Kick less then a 26? I never shot a 26 but I did own a 23 and I suck at it but very accurate with a 30. I bought and selling the 27 but never shot it but was worried that I might shoot it like a 23. I do love the feel of the 27 but I don't want to shot it because I am selling it. Maybe I will go to a range and shoot a loaner 27 and maybe keep the one I have if what you say is true.

  5. I opted to go with regular old civilian style backpacks in subdued colors for me and my wife. You can't carry as much in one as a military style pack, but my aim wasn't really to create Bug Out Bags, but rather Get Home Bags. My reason for going with a civvie style pack was "camoflage". I figured if someone see's you wearing a military style pack loaded down with goods you are going to look like a much more rewarding target than someone carrying a smaller mass produced and widely available "WalMart style" pack. I also thought you might draw more attention from any LEO's, National Guard, or whatever policing force we may have operating at the time. I may be way off, but that was just simple thinking from a simple man.

Here is the pack I used.

You make really sense. I really like the Maxpedition and all the tactic gear but I want to blend in when things break loose.

  6. I think we should maybe bind together and boycott ALL restaurants that serve alcohol. Not just the ones that posted but ALL of them. In this economy we need to put the pressure on the restaurants to see the error of their ways.

If every HCP holder decided this was the time to take a stand and send a message, it will be heard. This was all about these f*ucktards not wanting to lose any money. I say we fight fire with fire if we really give a damn about our rights.

I agree, great idea. Banned ourselves from places that banned us, HCP.

  7. An unarmed person can be dangerous as an armed person, it is different for each person. Depending on the size and skill of each person. If you are a bad ass and can take blows and kick to your face then cool for you. Do you think a person punching you in the nose, is going to stop just because you are bleeding? There will be more blows and more kicks coming. When will you decide that you are in trouble and try to pull out your gun and then the unarmed is now armed. You have been punched in the nose? Every situation is different.

  8. I had a 23 about 10 years ago and trade it in for a 30 about 4 months ago and love shooting it. I bought a 27 brand new and never shot it. Thinking of trading a 27 for a 26 or just keeping the 27 and buying a 26. What is your suggestion?

  9. Why can't we just have the leader of the NRA create a list of restaurant or place that doesn't support the right to carry and we just banned ourself from those places. Make the list public so those places that want our bussiness call the NRA to take their name of the list. Is their such a list for TN that we can create or is there already on created? I only want to support those bussiness. It is so frustrating to me to carry that I am almost giving up but I need to protect my family so I am risking fines, etc.

  10. Never could carry in 'bars', only restaurants that serve food 5 days a week along with alcohol.

But I do believe that it means we can't carry anywhere alcohol is served for on site consumption again.

I am a new member. Sorry if I am posting this incorrectly. I am confused about "served for on site consumption." I was in a liqour store buying wine. I say the sign that firearm not allow and consider a misermeader. It was not post at the entrance but at the counter wall. I was going to walk out but I need the wine to sleep.
