Have I been missing out on something? The latest bill, as I understand, will require gun show sales and internet sales to only happen with a background check. Have I been able to purchase firearms over the internet without a BC? All I've ever bought that way, and that's several, were sent to an FFL where a background check was done, with the exception of a couple of black powder revolvers that I bought. With respect to internet sales, how is this different?

I have two Rossi 44mags and one Rossi .357mag. I also have several Marlins. Rossi's are MUCH smoother after installing/modifying springs and bearing surfaces.

A member of another forum contacted CCI technical during the shortage of 4 +/- years ago and this is the exchange:
"I called not to complain about availability, but rather to
discuss the technical differences between their primer types. I was put in
touch with one of their tech reps who was very happy to discuss their primers.
BTW, She mentioned that she had worked there 38 yrs and never seen anything
even close to this kind of demand.
Then she said that they can produce 3 million primer per day
flat out (which they are currently running) but have currently over 1 Billion
back ordered. Unfortunately, that means that if all new orders stopped
completely today. Everything; ammo, gov't, and component, it would take almost
a year running flat out to catch up.Anyway, I was asking about the cup thickness, formula
differences, and formula amount differences between their #500 (SP), #550
(SPM), and #400 (SR). She had me hold a minute to get the detail specs up on
her screen and this is what she said.Cup thickness: The #500 has a thinner cup than either the
#550 or #400, however, both the #550 and #400 have the same cup dimensions
(including thickness).Flash powder formula: All three sizes use the same formula
for the flash powder.Flash powder amount: The #500 has a slightly smaller amount
(3 micrograms) than the #550 or #400 which both have the same amount.I asked if the SR primers could be used as an acceptable
substitute for the SPM primers. She compared the #550 and #400 and then replied
that yes, they appeared to have the same specs, same dimensions, same cup
thickness, same formula, and same amount of flash powder. She even noted that
the SPM primers were slightly taller than the SP primers and were spec'd the
same dimensions as the #400.I asked if she knew any reason not to just use SR primers
for both magnum pistol and rifle applications based upon that information and
she said that many there only bought rifle primers and used them for all their
reloading, magnum or not. The only exception being for custom pistols where the
thicker rifle cup contributed to misfires, which she said only occurred in
custom race pistols."- 2

In my opinion, he's as qualified as all those Barney Fifes employed by the DEA. Although they only "monitor" what the doctor prescribes, the doctors are terribly intimidated by them. They (the DEA) hold the power of the medical license over the doctor's heads. So in practice, the DEA is, in fact, dictating the prescription - all without a medical degree. So why shouldn't Bloomberg?

I've had the same experiences as everyone else - high prices, 3% on credit OR DEBIT, sparce selection, and overall bad attitude. Haven't been there in quite a while. Does anyone know who the new owner(s) are?

Thanks to everyone for their responses.

Thank you for the welcome. I'm not trying to be a contrarian, but I'm confused. I understood that your "castle" extended to your car and other places. If a bad guy is trying to break into my car to get to me or my wife, and we are in fear for our lives, I can shoot him with a firearm that I'm not supposed to have? Would that be a correct interpretation of a given scenario?

The argument stems from whether or not an individual, without a carry permit, can carry a loaded handgun in his/her car. My response was, under Tennessee's castle doctrine, it was in fact legal. Am I incorrect?

Here ya' go. If they're too small to read, you can look them up on Wikipedia.

Fox & Company has all types of black powder.
Fox & Company does not carry black powder. I was there just a few day ago and asked. Vendors of real black powder have to get a special license as it's classified as an explosive.

I say submit it to the grand jury and let them decide if there's enough evidence for prosecution.

If you are having to pull that many bullets, do you think you may need to revisit your loading techniques?

Would love to drive a Lamborghini one day, but even if I could get in it, the rescue squad would have to get me out.
