Twice now I've had very nice pistols (Springfield EMP and a Sig 229 Elite Stainless)and end up selling or trading because I hate having that much in a gun. Now I have a brand new 226 Tacops in 9mm and I'm thinking about selling or trading towards a couple of cheaper 9mm handguns.
YOUR NOT ALONE. I'VE DONE THIS A FEW TIMES WHEN I SEE MONEY SITTING IN A GUN I DON'T USE. THEN I FEEL LIKE I NEED TO SELL IT.

How ironic....since this topic started, my friend to whom I sold my SR1911, along with my PPK, is moving back to Commifornia. He didn't want to go through the hassle of registering the guns he purchased here in TN and decided to sell them. He offered (well, I insisted I get 1st dibs) to sell them back. You know what they say "if you love something let it free and if comes back yours". :pleased:

I agree with the others, centerfire .223/.243 or shotgun.

I love a baitcaster too. I picked up a Abu Garcia Revo SX gen 2 mounted on a Vendetta 6'6" and love it. I have 10lb flourocarbon on it and use it for anything it will cast :pleased: . I use an Abu Cardinal SX20 7' spinning rod/reel with 6lb stren mono for anything else.

I like the blade contour. These homemade knives are inspiring me to build my own.

I fished the Caney yesterday and moved up to the lake for a couple hours and caught a nice 18" smallie to cap my day off in the rain.
That's a nice fish to cap the day.

Always had the most luck just down stream of that dam, you can put in right by it
http://goo.gl/maps/QjtvRMy plan was to paddle upstream from the Mona boat ramp to that dam but only got 1/2 way before I turned back. It was just too far from where I put in. I thought that part of the river looked promising from 231, I'm glad to hear you had luck there. Next time I will launch by the dam like you suggested.

I have always fished for Smallmouth up near and past 4 corners Marina. Never really tried to fish for them in the stones.
THANKS, THAT LOOKS LIKE A GOOD PLACE TO TAKE THE BOAT NEXT TIME I HAVE IT OUT. I'M TRYING TO GET MORE INTO THE RIVERS WITH MY CANOE SO THERE IS NO BOAT TRAFFIC AND HOPEFULLY LESS PRESSURE.

I used to go to Fall Creek of Mona Rd. and it was always good to me but it's been a few years since I have been there.
I'LL CHECK THAT OUT.

I wish I could get a set for my Kershaw Rake.

I just put my finger in my coat pocket.

I'm looking for a good place to put my canoe in the East Fork of the Stones River for small mouth fishing. I've tried the Mona boat ramp but it was slow moving and not much fun with a canoe. I read in a fishing guide a while back that the East Fork was good for small mouth but not sure what area it was referring to. I know the Duck and Buffalo are good just trying to find a place a little closer. Any tips?

Why not just get a Florida permit? Tennessee recognizes Florida permits. Seems like it would be easier. If I am not mistaken it can all be done online. Also, if I remember correctly there have been several people who could not get Tennessee permits who were granted a permit through Florida because Florida doesn't have a residency requirement.
That's what I was thinking, seems easier to just get a FL permit.

I like that backstrap, did it come on that model or did you have that done?
