I hope that it helps you out [emoji1] I would rather support a vendor that makes an effort to have good customer service. I have heard stories about PSA for years but try not to judge by internet rumors only. I now have my first hand experience. I don't blame anyone for shopping there. They have good products for a great price. For every person who feels that way, makes it quicker for the rest of us to get our stuff from them. :)

I got my shipping e-mail from UPS today. Coincidentally, it came about 5 minutes after sending an e-mail to customer service expressing my displeasure with their service. According to the tracking number, they still haven't given the package to UPS, but at least they have printed the shipping label. I also tried calling the CS number that is listed on the website. It goes to an automated system that doesn't identify the company and asks for an extension without giving a menu of options. This will definitely be my last order with PSA.

I ordered an upper and BCG on 12/26. I am still waiting on a "shipped" e-mail or tracking number. It is really frustrating because all of the parts from other vendors were delivered in a timely manner, but I can't work on my build any more till the upper comes in.

You can't go wrong with any of the K frame S&W's. I have a Model 19 4" barrel. If you are wanting a range gun, i would stay away from the J frame. They make great a CCW, but are not very fun to put a lot of rounds through.

If the one I got is a blem, I can't find it. With the $50 PSA blems, if they have free shipping, it would still be $20 for the transfer and $10 for TICS. I also didn't have to wait a month for PSA to get it to me.If they are blem lowers then EW is probably paying $30 each and selling them at 100% markup. PSA frequently sells blem Andersens for $39 to consumers, so the dealer cost in bulk must be around $30.
Even if they were not blems, you can still get them direct from PSA for $49.95 and free shipping or very low shipping, thus the actual out the door cost on a transfer is typically $65 or so, even after shipping and TICS.
Thus I don't see $76 out the door as any kind of a deal. And even if it was a great deal, I wouldn't ever shop at EW after their 22lr price gouging fiascos. -
Absolutely. For the price, I am very happy with it.Well, I would expect the person who I spoke with to correct me when I said I was checking about the Anderson lowers they are selling for $50. I know the real price now so I will probably still get one since it's a deal, but if I hadn't seen this post, honestly it would have pissed me off come Sunday and I would have walked just because of the phone call. Anyway, blah blah, rant off. So your happy with the quality I take it?

I feel the same way. The horse logo itself isn't bad. I just wish that they would have toned down the text.Is it just me or is the side of those Anderson's really "busy" with the horse and writing on it? With the really big engraving, that would be my only complaint.

Very true. I had my heart set on $50 but I wasn't going to walk away over $10. A 5 minute drive also beats waiting a week on shipping :-DThat's actually cheaper than buying a $49.99 blem from PSA once you add on shipping and transfer fee.

I just picked up the Anderson from EW. It was actually $59.99 + tax & TICS. It came to right at $75 OTD. Not as good of a deal as I had hoped, but not bad with you consider not transfer hassle and I got a free range coupon with the purchase. The quality & finish seem to be really good for the price.

I bought a Colt lower from Rguns several years ago and had a great experience. I'm glad to see that they are still treating people well during all of the panic buying.

I'm sure the response would be pretty much the same regardless. IE the person won't really care whether you're a paramedic or pizza delivery guy....they will give you hell or a thumbs up either way.
Although, I would assume any paramedics associated with the government would be out of luck. Also, would suck if you went to a hospital that didn't allow carry....
Even if there was a service that allowed carry, a huge problem would be carrying in prohibited places....most hospitals, schools, etc.

Rural Metro has the 911 contracts for Knox, Blount, and Loudon Counties. The other 911 services in the area are all County Govt run. Knoxville has several non-emergency services to pick from, AMR, ProMed, and a few others. I'm not sure about the set ups around Chatt. Maybe someone in that area will be able to chime in.

I haven't picked it up yet, but I'll let you know when I do. I am gonna run through Diablo 2 single player again and let them work out the bugs for a few more weeks.

Most of the Air Medical Pilots are ex-military because it can be very hard for a civilian to get the minimum required flying hours. The few non-military pilots that I have known usually have past employment flying corporate helicopters or tourist flights. The positions don't come open very often because turn-over is very low. He should also check with Air Evac. They have bases scattered all over TN, KY, and other parts of the country.

I am a Paramedic in the Nashville area. It is a good career and a very rewarding job. The three EMT programs in the Nashville area are Columbia State, Vol State, and MTSU. I am kind of partial to MTSU's program. I will disclose that it is a biased opinion, and all three are great programs. If you have any questions regarding the field, don't hesitate to ask.
I have been on a 911 ambulance for 10 years. Burnout is higher in this line of work that a lot of others, but I have managed to avoid it. I work a 24 hour shift followed by 48 hours off. It sounds terrible, but it's only 10 days a month of work! I couldn't imagine having to work 5 days a week. I have had numerous combative patients, but have never been assaulted, injured by a patient, or scared for my safety. LEO's take great care of us and help to "calm" combative patients

I have the CC model and it has been 100% reliable and has become one of my favorite carry guns. Enjoy!

That is awesome. to bad it is not here.
Yeah, that does suck. Maybe the Cool Springs store just ordered way too many.

UPDATE I was back in the Cool Springs store today and they had the Select Fire and the Crown marked down to $5!!

I have a mix of rock on mine. Disturbed, Green Day, Offspring, Rob Zombie, and Rage Against the Machine are always good running choices.

Yeah, sounds very similar to Dave Duerson. Probably another tragic case of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy.
