    Anyone have experience changing the recoil and hammer springs in one of these? The Lady of the House likes to shoot this gun but is having problems racking the slide. I would like to try weaker springs but don't know which strength to put in. If anyone has done this and can give me any thoughts on this I would appreciate the help.

    Thanks for the welcome. Chemprof, I plan on being at CCA Friday around 1 with some friends.

    I have been reading here for a couple weeks and decided to jump in and become a member. I moved to Tn about 18 months ago. I live near Knoxville and do my shooting at Coal Creek Armory. Currenly waiting for my CCW permit. I have a small assortment of handguns, rifles and shotguns.
