Regular cigar smoker here. Nothing better than a good smoke and a beer at the end of the day. Love Perdomo, Padron, Ashton, La Gloria, Montecristo............(Note: A cigar after a day at the range is also great!)

For years, I simply avoided Glocks. Thougt they were ugly. Didn't much care for how they felt in my hands. After a good friend suggested the G19, I finally broke down and bought my first Glock a few months ago. Gen4 Glock 19. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GUN!!! Bought my 2nd Glock (30) a few weeks ago.

While in the army, I spent 4 years in Germany. I came home a complete beer snob.

They only realized they made an error when their phone lines were inundated by angry voters who were upset by the concealed carry ban. Amazing! You'd think that they would have realized an error was in progress when they began to trounce on their citizen's Second Amendment rights! God save us from idotic politicians!

First of all, I believe that gun owners should support the preservation of our 2nd Amendment rights with more than just our voices. We should support it with our checkbooks as well. With that said, I admit to purposely allowing my NRA membership to lapse a few years ago. I, personally, could no longer support an organization that consistently supports and endorses Harry Reid for the U.S. Senate. I just could not square the fact that a portion of my membership dues were going to support the liberal senior senator from Nevada. Instead, I shifted my support to Gun Owners of America (GOA).
I won't disparage the many good works of the NRA. For me, gun rights cannot be viewed as a singular issue. It is one important liberty outlined within the Bill of Rights. In my mind, it exists, in large part, due to the other 9 amendments. Together they are stronger. If one falls, then the remaining 9 are weaker. Just because a politican has a solid voting record on gun rights issues but deliberately works to weaken other freedoms, he does not deserve my support. I know that I cannot control the contributions made by any PAC. I can, however, control my membership to these organizations.
I'm interested in hearing other's thoughts on this issue.

I wish more influential people would remind the general public that politicians are simply "We the People's" employees. We OWN this country and politicians of both political parties have done their best to sell it to the highest bidder. Unfortunately, one of those bidders is China. Who dreams this stuff up and then sells it to the public as a good idea? Personally, I think we should fire more employees in D.C.
P.S. Best Clint movie: The Outlaw Josey Wales.

I'm relatively new to the world of knives. I find that I have two regular EDCs, though: Benchmade Kulgera and Kershaw Blur.

Glad I found this forum. Relatively new to gun ownership. I'm finding that I enjoy reading and learning about firearms and especially enjoy shooting. Can be extremely therapeutic.

People who don't own guns or possess carry permits should also be concerned. Criminals can use this as a resource to identify "soft targets" for burglaries and home invasions.
