So I finally took the plunge and ordered my 1st (and 2nd) suppressor today. A Banish 30 from silencer central for my 308, AK-P, and 300 B.O. AR. Mike made the process so easy and fast. Hopefully now they get me approved in under a year. They took care of the forms, set up a trust, and when approved they will ship my suppressors straight to me. If you're in the market they have a bogo sale going on right now with a free 22 suppressor. If you are interested in ordering I can give you Mike's contact number and he will get you set up and on your way. I will update this thread as my status changes to give an idea of current lead times.

Looking to get my glock 20 slide milled for a RMR footprint. Gonna put a Holosun optic on there. Any local recommendations before shipping it out? Also going to be in the market for a holster for it afterwards with the optic and a light if anyone knows a good local holster maker.

Ok I see this is a waste of time. Flying under the radar and being quiet about things is what has allowed them to overstep to the extent they have already. There is power in numbers, but hey it seems like everyone is ok with what's happening.

Yall get your laughs in. This is a serious matter. I don't care how you think you won't survive most situations on your own. I've been to a few different group meeting invited by friends, but they are not as "involved" as what I'm looking for. More along the lines of reacting instead of preparing. With the thought of ww3 and the instability of the current admin you should really consider it yourself instead of thinking nothing will happen to you.

The way I was taking it was the 50 dollars was to cover the background check... so do lifetime holders have to pay anything or the only thing they have to worry about is if something comes back on the background check they will be doing automatically?

So this law goes into effect July 1 stating that TN carry permit holders must undergo a background check every 4 or 5 years. Does that apply to lifetime holders? That's pretty much defeating the purpose of paying the large sum up front in order to save money on renewals. If TN is a constitutional carry state now how does this make sense?

This new law going into effect July 1 says that in order to keep a carry permit in TN you have to undergo a background check and pay $50 every 4 years in order to keep it. Does that apply to lifetime permit holders?

I've ordered a frame on sale going to order a parts kit too soon. I was wondering if anyone close to the tri cities has some experience in building these that could work with me on my 1st build.

Just got my 1st p80 and have a few questions. Are all gen 3 glock 17 parts interchangeable? Are 17 holsters compatible if not Are g17 w/light holsters compatible since retention comes from the light usually instead of the trigger guard? I'm sure I have more but that's enough to get started

Found some at KY gun Co for a decent enough price to order online. After shipping they came out to $40 a piece so I'm happy with that. Thanks guys.

I'm not sure about polymer lowers on an ar15 I've heard some horror stories. Id like to stick with aluminum.

I'm looking into building a couple or ar15s from the ground up. Anyone have a source for stripped lowers in East TN? Looking to buy a couple of Andersons to get started but having issues finding a shop with any.
