1. I've got a little 38 colt agent that I would like to buy a pocket holster for. Looking for some recommendations of what or what not to use....
2.
I carry an XD40-sc in a crossbreed holster with a good belt (Looper with Kydex reinforcement). I imagine the same would work for you. I use the extended mag on my gun and that grip should be about same size as yours, and I imagine the barrell of yours is a 3.8?
Yes. Mine is the compact 3.8. It came with a 9 round and 13 round mags. It looks like they all fit the same holsters as long as the barrel length is the same? I'm in this market for a 9mm and this will draw me more toward another xd/xdm if they fit the same holsters. This is good stuff guys. I appreciate your input. Thanks Jon
3. Looking for some input on how and what others use to carry theirs.... It's allot-o-gun compared to the pocket pieces that I'm used to having on me.   Thanks   Jon
4. All of the public land on our end of the state is mountains and they're rough to hunt. The only flat land hunting around here requires leasing a farm or becoming very good friends with the owners of one. And most of our large farms have turned into subdivisions, so there's not many in the Tri-Cities to begin with. There's deer in the mountain, but you must put time into scouting to be successful. Jon
5. The pressures for that cartridge are way too high for that shotgun frame and your brother needs to find an SB2 rifle frame for it or get rid of the barrel. Those barrels do not have a good rep for accuracy anyway, even for the Handi guys that know how to dial them in....
6. I have had handi rifles in 223, 25-06, 7-08, 30-30, & 44 mag and none of them shot like that. If the scope base is not the problem I would send it to the factory. They do stand behind their products and if a barrel got out if the factory that bad, they would replace it. I've heard of some 243 not shooting well out of the box, but nothing like this that was not optic related. Good luck. Jon
7. Thanks for the warm welcome and happy new year!
8. Just ran accross this site and thought I would check it out. I mainly just hunt, but I love to squeeze off some rounds any time I have a chance! Jon
